Blown Away By Guilt!

Out in the hallway, Tess runs into Brody and says, "What do we have here?" Brody is confused by Jessica's actions! When Dr. Bonner comes out, with an orderly, Tess hits on Brody then leans in and begs him to get her out of there - in order to find her baby! Not wanting to get involved, Brody steps back, and the doctor demands to talk to Bess - who comes out, apologizes to Brody for Tess's actions and asks him to disregard everything Tess said! "Tess gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl," Bess assures them all. Once the doctor summonses Jessica back out, Jessica is confused to see Brody there, who excuses himself, then Jessica follows Dr. Bonner back into his office - and is even more confused by Tess's claim that her baby isn't hers, saying that's exactly what Tess told her mother as well!

Later, when Jessica runs into Brody in the hallway, she apologizes, to which Brody says, "I just wish I could've helped." When the doctor comes out, Jessica wishes Brody luck on his first session.

Viki Unleashes Her Fury!

Jessica runs into Brody at St. Ann's, who is having trouble relating to some of the other patients, and gives him some tips. After introductions, Jessica says, "I've been here before… I'm as loony as they come." Brody is shocked, and comments that Jessica looks sane, neat hair and all, which causes Jessica to snap about his misconception of the other 'unkempt' patients. After she apologizes, Brody shares why he's there, leaving Jessica to laugh - explaining her situation, and all of the crimes she's committed! Brody agrees, "You win," and Jessica lets on that she wanted to show him that looks can be deceiving - without trying to minimize his troubles. Later, seated around Thanksgiving diner, Brody says grace and prays they'll get well enough to get their lives back.

Three's A Crowd!

Nora brings Brody to St. Ann's and helps get him checked-in. After Brody thanks Nora for helping him, Gigi, Rex and Wes arrive to spend some time with Brody. While Nora, Gigi and Wes go check on some things, Brody and Rex bond over their connection then Gigi and Rex surprise Brody with a visit from Shane! While Rex and Gigi look on, Brody and Shane play checkers and chat about school. Brody appears fine with the conversation until he sees the image of the little boy he killed standing behind Shane! Wes seems to detect a change in Brody and comes to his aid. After Shane rejoins Rex and Gigi, Brody admits his visions to his friend, to which Wes completely understands. "I need help," Brody says, and Wes assures him that his stay at St. Ann's will provide that help. Brody thanks everyone for coming and heads to his room - but not before Shane salutes him.

The Guy Needs Help, Not Punishment!

Gigi arrives at the VA Hospital to give Brody a heads up - about Rex! "Rex doesn't want to put you away. He wants to make sure that you don't end up in prison." Though Brody is appreciative, he's not happy that Wes approached them looking for favors, but Gigi makes it clear that they know he was someone else when he shot Rex - and that he needs help. Gigi then gives Brody back the money that Brody gave her for Shane's college - the money Dorian paid him to show up in Llanview! Reluctantly, Brody accepts it with the hopes of getting his life back.

Later, when Nora and Rex arrive, Brody is reluctant to take the deal - to have himself committed for further psychiatric evaluation - but then thanks Rex and Nora for their generosity. Once Nora leaves, Rex hands Brody a pen and he signs a paper to have himself committed.

After Gigi and Rex leave, Brody opens up a letter they left with him from Shane - a colored picture of a superhero named Brody.

Tess Wanted Natalie and Jared To Suffer...

Wes goes to the VA hospital to visit Brody, who is in better spirits. Brody talks about how Gigi, Shane and Rex came to visit him then worries about the charges against him. "I shot an unarmed man. I'm going to prison for a long time," Brody says. "And that's how it should be." Though Wes reminds Brody that he wasn't himself, Brody takes full blame for his actions and says, "The best thing for Gigi and Shane is for me to disappear."

Listen To Your Mother!

Inside Brody's hospital room, Brody wonders why Gigi doesn't hate him, but Gigi knows that Brody wasn't himself. Crying, Brody says, "Gigi, I'm so sorry," and Gigi replies, "I know, and Brody, I'm sorry too." Brody appreciates Gigi allowing Shane to visit but worries about how much he must have scared him. Gigi feels as though she owes Brody for always being there for her and promises to now be there for him.

791 Miles From Llanview...

Inside Brody's VA hospital room, Rex sits with Brody, who promises that he never meant to hurt Rex. Rex knows and replies, "I came here to thank you." Rex thanks Brody for being there for Gigi after he left her, for being a father to Shane then informs, "My marriage is over, and Gigi and I are together." Though Shane still looks at Brody as his father, Rex hopes that he can be a father to Shane - but also hopes that everything works out for Brody. Before Rex leaves, Brody says, "Shane… he likes hotdogs."
