SHANE MORASCO'S HISTORY
Shane first appeared on the scene when Viki traveled to Paris, Texas and worked at the Bonjour Cafe. Since moving to Llanview with his mom, Gigi, Shane has always longed to have his father back - a man he thought died at war.
It wasn't until 2008 that Shane got his wish when Brody Lovett came to Llanview and claimed the duty, even though Brody knew he wasn't Shane's father! However, little does Shane know, his dad is Rex Balsom, a man who he's already bonded with - the big secret his mother has been hiding from him his whole life!
However, after Shane connected with Brody, his emotions turned on Rex, who he sees as a threat to his family.

Friday, November 13 2009: Deathbed Confessions...
Rex arrives home to the carriage house and stares at his birth certificate. When Shane appears, he wonders if Rex's case is over. Rex says no but promises to be there for him and his mom. Shane fills Rex in on everything that's gone on in Llanview since he left then admits that Schuyler was a great fill-in for him - and that they won the best Halloween costume! Rex is startled to see Noelle and wonders where Gigi is. Noelle lies that Gigi went to Rodi's, to make a delivery, but Rex is suspicious.
Friday, October 30 2009: Halloween Confessions...
Roxy arrives at the Halloween Party and mistakes Schuyler, who is still in costume, for Rex! After Shane lets her know that Batman is Schuyler, he thanks Roxy for sending him to deliver the costumes for them. Shane wonders where Roxy is going tonight, since she's not dressed up, and Roxy convinces Gigi to let her take Shane to the rally.
