After Charlie brings Viki to Carlotta's new diner, she's in shock to see that it's a complete replica of the Bon Jour Café! "Did we just go back in time?" Viki asks, to which Charlie explains, "We're not in Texas, and this is not the Bonjour. This is the Buenos Dias, and I built it for you." With tears of happiness, Viki seats Charlie at the booth by the window, remembering the first time she saw him. Charlie hopes the new diner will give Viki some new hopes and dreams, and Viki agrees that it already has.
Suddenly, Gigi, Moe and Noelle enter the diner, and Viki runs into their arms, as Charlie whispers, "Happy Thanksgiving, Viki." Hearing that the surprise was all Charlie's doing, Viki rushes into his arms and says, "Thank you!" While Moe and Charlie talk in the kitchen, Viki agrees with Noelle - that a girl would be a fool to let Charlie go! Later, Charlie asks Viki if they can start over…
At the Buenos Dias Café, Viki, Gigi, Charlie, Noelle and Moe prepare a Thanksgiving diner, as Marcie and Michael arrive, followed by the Buchanans, the Vegas and their crew, as well as Dorian's family. After Shane introduces his dad, Rex, to Moe and Noelle, Llanview celebrates Thanksgiving as one.
Viki Unleashes Her Fury!
Arriving back to the carriage house, Rex tries to get Shane to play catch, but Shane blows him off and heads to his room. Suddenly, Charlie arrives looking for Viki, but Rex and Gigi haven't seen her. Though Charlie tells Gigi that he isn't sure if they are 'still on for later', he heads out to walk the grounds in search of Viki. Once alone, Gigi tells Rex about her and Charlie's plans then Rex worries that Shane will never look at him like he does Brody. "I may be his father," Rex says. "But Brody is his hero." Gigi reminds Rex of what he did to help Brody, calling Rex a hero, and assures him that once Shane gets to know him, he'll love him like she does. With talk of a plan to get 'this father/son thing' jumpstarted, Gigi calls Shane downstairs and suggests they watch the Thanksgiving parade together - like the Morasco's have always done. When Rex goes to leave, to spend time with Matthew like he does every year, thinking Shane doesn't want him intruding, Shane begs to go with him - in favor of video games over a 'childish' parade!
"Hello Father, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Viki asks as she walks into Victor crypt - not wanting to admit that he's won. Thinking about how she didn't remember his abuse, which in turn caused Jessica to not remember her own, Viki breaks down in tears. With a crowbar in her hand, determined to end the tragedy created by Victor Lord, Viki vows to tear him down! As Viki pries at the plate on Victor's tomb, she screams, "I am wiping you from my memory! You are no more! Why did you choose me, you evil bastard!"
Suddenly, Viki notices Charlie standing in the doorway. Though Viki begs Charlie to leave, he refuses to walk out on her then listens as Viki explains where they are - at her father's final resting place. "I hate my father. Do you want to know why?" Viki stops, not wanting to ruin his perception of her, but Charlie urges her on. "I want to kill him, but he's dead. And I'm stuck. My father raped me when I was seven years old… It went on for years then my mind split." Viki goes further to explain how Jessica's D.I.D. came to be, causing Charlie to pull her into his arms! He offers to tear the mausoleum down for her - if that's what she wants! "I don't see you as a victim," Charlie says. "You're a survivor, like I am. We have to take one day at a time." Though Viki pulls away, Charlie holds out his hands and says, "I love you more now than ever. So come on, let me show you something." Viki takes Charlie's hand and they leave…
Charlie brings Viki to the old Angels Square diner, opens the door, turns on the lights and watches as Viki cries in shock. "It's home," Charlie says, as Viki stares around Carlotta's diner, which is now a replica of the Bonjour Café!
What Have I Become...
After Viki leaves, she sees Charlie in the hallway and rushes into his arms.
She's Gone...
Downstairs in Llanfair's basement, Natalie and Jared explain to Charlie and Viki about Tess buckling over in pain. They all realize that Jessica's in labor, to which Viki gasps, "And she's all alone." Just then, Bo arrives to hear that Jared and Natalie were at Llanfair all along. After Bo assures Natalie that Rex is fine, Clint appears and takes his daughter in his arms. After Clint and Natalie apologize for their past mistakes, they worry about Jessica - and her baby - then Jared and Natalie explain that everything Tess did was for Nash, the one thing she can never have. "That's where she is," Viki says. "She's at the vineyard." After Clint and Viki leave, Natalie and Jared look forward to their freedom, as Charlie assures her that Jared never gave up on her! Before Charlie leaves, he and Jared hug on 'second chances'.
Faced With A Ghost... And A Gun!
Realizing they only have ten minutes until the bomb goes off, Natalie and Jared scream for Viki and Charlie to get out of Llanfair's basement, but they refuse, as Charlie knows they need to get rid of the bomb. While Charlie and Jared try to come up with a plan to get rid of the bomb, Natalie apologizes to Viki for everything and the two share 'I love you's'. After Charlie manages to lift the bomb out of the drawer, he runs up the basement stairs to get rid of it, leaving Natalie, Viki and Jared to feel the loud BOOM! Viki cries, "Oh, my, God, Charlie," and runs upstairs after him, leaving Jared devastated knowing his dad saved their lives while sacrificing his own.
