JACK MANNING'S HISTORY
Born in 2004, Jack Manning is the youngest of the Manning clan. Although we don't get to see this character often, Jack has already had to deal with many hardships and controversies surrounding his parents' sordid past.
At birth, his own father gave him away thinking Jack was the son of Max Holden while telling Blair that Jack had died! Most recently, Jack was ready to replace Todd with Dr. Spencer Truman after growing close to Spencer during a time when his father couldn't be there for him. However, after his mother Blair uncovered Spencer's damaging secrets, she was able to run interference and bring Todd and Jack back together.
However, his family's happiness is always tested. Jack suffered through a time when he thought his father was dead, when he had really been kidnapped by Margaret Cochran. He was forced to deal with the many breakups of his parents, ultimately after his father couldn't handle his sister's pregnancy. With his mother having a restraining order on Todd, Jack was left to live at his aunt's mansion with his mom, Starr and little brother Sam - until his mother was stabbed and Todd regained temporary custody!
During his time at Todd's, Jack came upon Todd, Tea and Blair, passed out, then was left traumatized by Powell Lord, who he watched take away his parents. However, Jack fought his fears, opened up to John McBain and told him what happened.
A boy with a sweet demeanor, Jack's only hope is to break the Manning cycle and grow up without having his life tarnished by his parents' past mistakes!

Wednesday, February 24 2010: Llanview's Very Own... Snoop Dogg!
At The Palace, Dani sees Tea holding the drug vile and asks what she's hiding - is it a drug? Tea claims it's an exhibit for a case, but Dani doubts it. Jack arrives, sees Dani and asks, "Who the hell are you?" Dani introduces herself as Jack's sister, leaving Jack to say, "Like I need another big sister." Dani feels the same and replies, "Like I need a mini Todd." As the new siblings argue, Tea calls Jack out for not telling Todd where he is. Tea calls Todd, tells him that Jack is there then lashes out at him for not telling Jack about Dani - but Todd reminds Tea that she didn't tell him he had a daughter! Tea hangs up and plays referee over the kids' arguing - until Todd and Blair arrive for Jack. While Tea, Todd and Blair argue about their own relationships, Jack warns Dani that their mothers fight over their dad like a dog with a bone! Dani is relieved when Matthew calls to invite her to the Snoop concert, but Todd refuses to allow her to go! Dani snaps at Todd until Tea agrees to go with Dani. Dani defends Matthew, saying he wouldn't get drunk at a frat party and… Tea stops her from bringing up the rape in front of Jack then Todd, Blair and Jack leave. Jack wants to go to the concert and says Todd and Blair owe him - for not telling him he had a sister!
Later, Snoop arrives at Capricorn and chats with the Evans clan. On her way to the bathroom, Rachel spots Tea and says, "Greg thinks I know something." Tea suggests that Rachel come clean. Across the room, Starr, Cole and Markko tell Blair about Langston staying back to watch Hope. From different areas of the club, Todd, Bo and Nora watch Matthew and Dani - until Snoop takes the stage and sings his hit single, "I Wanna Rock," off his new "Malice In Wonderland" CD. Snoop makes his way through the crowd and dances with all of Capricorn's patrons.
Monday, February 15 2010: Falling Through The Cracks...
Back at the Manning Estate, Todd catches Blair singing, "We only have one life to live…" when he asks, "How can I make Danielle like me? A car?" Blair warns that he can't buy his way out of this. As Todd refers to Dani as his daughter, Jack, who's been listening to their conversation from outside the room, looks confused. Jack heads back upstairs, whispering, "No one tells me anything," as Blair leaves to take a call, while Todd calls to make sure Tea has checked into The Palace Hotel. Shortly after, Blair returns and tells Todd she needs to get to Starr and cries, "It was Cassie on the phone."
