When Gigi returns home, Shane cries, "I know, Mom, I'm going to be a big brother." After Shane goes upstairs, Rex explains why he told Shane without her, ignoring a call from Stacy, leading Gigi to admit that she went to see Stacy - to give her money to have an abortion!
Destined To Be Miserable?
Schuyler checks in on Gigi at the carriage house, as Gigi rants about how Stacy, and that kid of hers, will be in her and Rex's life forever. Just then, Rex arrives home, and Gigi is furious that Rex didn't kick Stacy out of his loft. Knowing she's late for Viki's wedding, Gigi takes off. Though Schuyler tries to leave as well, Rex stops him and says, "You and I need to talk." Rex tells Schuyler that Gigi has him now and warns for him to stay the hell away from her! As Schuyler refuses to stop being Gigi's friend, Rex makes him aware that he knows Schuyler has a thing for Gigi - but Schuyler warns him to concentrate on Gigi, who's not very happy with their life right now!
Gigi arrives at the loft with an envelope, saying it's the solution to their little problem. Though Stacy thinks the money isn't enough for an apartment, Gigi claims it's enough to make their problem go away!
Silence In Exchange For Consent!
At the carriage house, Rex admits that thinking about him sleeping with Stacy makes him mad - not just at Stacy but at Gigi too! Rex brings up Gigi's lies, and how she was the one who made him believe Stacy was practically a saint, who was saving Shane's life, and Gigi listens thoughtfully then cries, "I don't blame you for sleeping with Stacy, I hate it, but I blame me." Rex and Gigi vow not to let anyone come between them again. With talk of Stacy's pregnancy, Rex vows not to take Stacy's word on it then they leave to get proof - after promising each other that they are now 'solid'.
Later, as Rex and Gigi are questioning a doctor at the hospital about Stacy's pregnancy, Stacy and Schuyler appear - and Stacy gives the doctor the go-ahead to tell them the results! In fact, she asks the doctor to take another blood test, and Rex goes with her! Schuyler wonders how Gigi is doing, who claims that she and Rex are solid. Shortly after, Rex and Stacy reappear, as does the doctor, who announces that Stacy is definitely pregnant! Stacy can't wait for her first sonogram - and expects Rex to be there too!
Someone Lurks In The Shadows...
At the loft, after Stacy announces her pregnancy, Gigi threatens to call the cops, but Rex says, "Don't." While Rex appears withdrawn, Stacy shows Gigi the test results and offers to take another test. "Rex never slept with you!" Gigi says. "Rex, say something." When he doesn't, Gigi gasps - and starts to hyperventilate, as Rex says, "It was just one time." However, Stacy reminds Gigi, "One time is all it takes, right Gigi?" As Rex makes excuses for his actions, Stacy puts her spin on it, causing Gigi to flip over the kitchen table in a fury!
As Gigi walks through the alley, she runs into Schuyler. When Schuyler doesn't appear surprised to hear about Rex and Stacy's romp, Gigi screams, "You knew!" Schuyler explains how he found out, but Gigi is upset that he didn't tell her. He didn't want to break her heart. Gigi fears if the baby is Rex's, they will never be rid of Stacy.
Underlying Messages...
Still at Rex's loft, though Gigi demands that Stacy leave town, Stacy holds a hospital document, one that will keep her in Llanview for the next eighteen years! As Gigi goes to grab the paper, Stacy says, "You want to know what's on the paper? I'll tell you. It's a list of the charges I'm going to put against you." Gigi laughs it off then warns that Stacy will be the one to go to jail, but Stacy corners her with, "When I tell Rex what I just found out he's never going to leave me." Suddenly, Rex calls, and Gigi tells him where she is - and says that Stacy is with her. Rex says, "I'm on my way!"
Shortly after, when Rex arrives, and threatens to call the cops, Stacy says, "Are you sure you want to send the mother of your child to prison?" Rex thinks she means Gigi, but Stacy clarifies, "I'm the mother of your child."
The Key To Todd's Plan!
Gigi brings Rex to the parking garage to show him what Stacy did to her car, as well as to inform him that Stacy's been released. When they come upon the car, Rex can't believe the damage she did, to which Gigi replies, "And I don't think she's done with us!" Rex wishes he knew where Stacy was, as Gigi assures him Noelle won't let Stacy near Shane. While Rex stays behind, to wait for the cops, Gigi borrows Rex's car and leaves, freaked out by being back in the parking garage.
