Back at her motel room, not recognizing Todd and Blair, Marcie wonders why Gigi shooed her away but is distracted when Tommy says, “Dada.” Suddenly, Gigi arrives and asks ‘Marcie’ what’s going on!
Wanted For Kidnapping: Marcie McBain!
Back at their motel, after saying their goodnights, just as Charlie goes to kiss Viki, Gigi walks past them, saying, “Don’t mind me,” then walks into Marcie’s room. Alone again, Viki and Charlie look forward to getting to know each other but agree to ‘take it slow’. After they say goodnight, Viki and Charlie arrange to spend Thanksgiving together! As Viki is settling into her motel room, her cell rings and it’s Charlie to say goodnight one more time. Not wanting her to hang up, Viki and Charlie share a pleasant conversation.
Turning in for the night, Marcie throws her motel key on the desk then tucks Tommy into bed. When Gigi arrives with groceries and stuff for Tommy, Marcie worries she’s being followed and says she needs to leave town – but has no money. Though Gigi and Marcie are in the same boat, both being single moms, Gigi fantasizes about ‘running into’ a lot of money. Before Gigi leaves, she invites Marcie to spend Thanksgiving with her then hugs Marcie goodnight.
After Gigi briefly visits with Viki, and asks her to give her 'single mom friend' some advice tomorrow, she plans to leave the motel but sees the wanted poster on the vending machine – with Marcie picture and a note saying there’s a reward!

When Gigi questions whether Viki knew ‘those people’, Viki denies it – until Gigi cons her into saying Dorian’s name! Gigi asks Viki, “Do you ever wonder what it’d be like to have that money,” to which Viki replies, “It doesn’t buy you happiness.” Once Viki is alone, she smiles about overhearing that Asa summoned his whole family to Texas for the reading of his will. Later, after Gigi vents about her money problems, she asks Viki about her date with Charlie.
Suddenly, Charlie arrives at the diner asking if Viki had time for a cup of coffee – and Gigi quickly volunteers to cover for Viki! Once alone, Charlie admits he came by to find out when he could see her again. After Charlie expresses how nice it was to talk to someone about his son, Viki agrees it was nice to talk about her double-life but admits, “A bit of my real-life showed up here in Texas today, and it made me realize I’m so not ready to go back home.” Later, after a brief talk with Gigi, Viki goes back to Charlie and says, “I don’t know your last name? I couldn't possibly go out with someone if I don’t know something so basic as your last name.” However, Charlie replies, “I consider you a friend, and all my friends just call me Charlie B.”
Welcome To The Bonjour Cafe!
Arguing over what to order at the Bonjour Café, David, Alex and Dorian take a seat as Dorian mocks the ‘Paris’ traits within the café! Just as Dorian comments that Viki is probably dining in some fancy Paris (France) restaurant, from the doorway, Viki spots her old 'friends' from Llanview! Although Viki runs into Gigi and asks her to cover the table, in order for Viki to go back to her room and get a sweater, Gigi offers Viki one of her extra sweaters then rushes back into the kitchen! Suddenly, Viki panics when she hears Dorian calling, “Waitress… We’d like to order please.” When Viki manages to hide behind a counter, Noelle takes their order, leaving Viki sickened by Dorian, Alex and David’s argument – until she hears Dorian say, “Listen here, Mrs. Vickers!” Repeatedly, Viki manages to dodge David, Dorian and Alex, but she can’t hide her nervousness when confronted by Moe!
Gigi arrives back at Marcie’s with breakfast and finds a picture of Michael. Marcie explains he’s her husband then snaps on Gigi when she starts implying that Michael is an abuser. When Gigi questions, “But you said last night… I thought,” Marcie replies, “I lied.” As Marcie tries to stick up for Michael, Gigi just thinks she is in denial and makes Marcie repeat after her, “I did nothing wrong and my husband is not a good man.” After Gigi leaves, Marcie picks up the picture of Michael, looks at Tommy then says, “Mikie, I’m sorry.”
Back at the café, when Noelle gets an emergency call and has to leave the diner, Viki panics at the thought of having to cover Dorian’s table! Although Moe hands Viki a plate to serve, she refuses to bring it to Dorian’s table!
As Gigi arrives at work and rushes past their table, Dorian finds some coupons in Alex's purse then confronts Alex and David when they return from the bathroom about their farce of a marriage! Although David acts as though he knows everything about his new lovely bride, Dorian picks up on a scent – and heads to the kitchen! With Moe guarding the entrance, Dorian says, “I’d know that scent anywhere and I demand to know why it’s coming from your kitchen!” When Dorian describes a certain recipe from France, Moe gets all gitty and chats it up with Dorian! With a kiss to Moe's check, Dorian says her goodbyes to the Bonjour Cafe - leaving Viki relieved!

Just as Marcie tucks Tommy in, someone knocks on her motel door! After hearing it’s Gigi at the door, Marcie quickly gets back in disguise then invites Gigi and her son inside. When Shane speaks of his hero father, Marcie sees a bit of uneasiness fill Gigi’s face. After Gigi allows Shane to go over to the Café, Marcie apologizes for what happened to Shane’s dad to which Gigi replies, “You have to do what you have to do.” In reference to raising her son alone, Marcie asks, “How do you know if you’re doing the right thing?” Marcie starts rambling about how she had to leave town and how worried she is that ‘Billy’s’ rich dad is going to find them. However, Gigi reminds Marcie that as long as she’s with her little boy she’ll be fine. Although Marcie talks about leaving town, Gigi tries convincing her to put down roots in Paris, Texas. When Shane returns, Gigi promised to introduce Marcie to 'all the girls’ at the Café then says, “We’ll take real good care of you and Billy.”
