As Gigi talks about her and Rex's future, and all the obstacles they've gone through to get there, Rex stands behind a tree, listening, as Gigi admits, "I don't know if the future we wanted is even possible now." Spontaneously, Rex approaches Gigi and Schuyler and asks Gigi to marry him!
Reliving Her Worst Nightmare...
Still at Rodi's after Gigi wonders if Stacy was trying to get pregnant by someone else, Schuyler remembers Stacy trying to seduce him - but is stopped from saying anything when Natalie approaches the bar, to which they discuss Rex being with Stacy. Before Natalie walks away, she assures Gigi that not Stacy - or anyone else - could break up her and Rex. When Natalie walks away, Schuyler suggests that she tell Rex about her findings, but Gigi worries that Rex will think she's being paranoid.
After Schuyler leaves, Rex appears to tell Gigi that the doctor said the baby is doing well - and Gigi shows Rex the pregnancy box, wondering why a pregnant woman would need a pregnancy test! Rex thinks it may be Kim's test, or that it could have been at the loft for a while, leading Gigi to admit that Schuyler thought of the same thing. Rex gets in a tiff that Schuyler was there, which makes Gigi defensive! Rex apologizes, says he doesn't know what he'd do in her shoes but admits that he told Stacy he'd wait till the baby was born to get a paternity test. Rex knows Gigi needs a friend and says he's okay with Schuyler being it.
The Fight To Stay Alive...
Schuyler meets Gigi at Rodi's. Though she worries he's there to say he's leaving town, Schuyler informs that he's not - because of her! Schuyler assures her that she gave him a lot to think about, made him realize he has a lot to stay for, but he respects her relationship with Rex. Gigi shows him the empty pregnancy box, and though he thinks she's pregnant, Gigi eases his fears then wonders if it's possible that Stacy isn't pregnant after all. Over talk of the situation, Schuyler remembers Stacy trying to seduce him, as Gigi wonders if Stacy was trying to trap Rex by getting pregnant by someone else!
Could A Negative Be Positive?
In their bedroom, Rex informs Gigi that Stacy tried to get out of another doctor's appointment, but he's making her go! Gigi wonders why Stacy is stalling then suggests that maybe Stacy's not pregnant after all! Rex reminds her that he was there for the pregnancy test, but Gigi insists on not relying on Stacy's word any further and heads out to the appointment with him.
At the loft, Stacy rants to Kim about Rex finding out she's not pregnant, but Kim reminds her of sleeping with Fish - then hands Stacy a pregnancy test! Stacy takes the test, which comes out negative, then panics when Rex and Gigi begin knocking at the door! Kim holds Rex and Gigi off out in the hall, saying, "I'll let you know when Stacy's ready," then goes back to Stacy and promises everything will work out. Kim suggests when the doctor informs Rex that she's not pregnant to act as though she had no idea that she lost the baby!
Shortly after, Gigi barges in, and Stacy warns that Gigi's not going with them! When Rex enters, he insists that Gigi come with them, but Gigi backs off and agrees to stay behind. After Rex, Stacy and Kim are gone, Gigi uses her spare key to get back into the loft and finds the empty pregnancy test box!
Layla And Fish: Round One!
Rex and Gigi open the door to the carriage house to Stacy and Kim, and though Rex insists they talk tomorrow, Stacy says, "This is about the baby." As Gigi makes comments about Kim, Kim calls Gigi a 'witch' - and Rex has to hold Gigi back! Stacy demands they all quite fighting, so she can say what she came to say - before she loses her nerve! Just as Stacy starts to tell the truth, Shane arrives, lashes out at her for lying to him - and ruining his family - until Kim snaps, "Shut up you little brat!" As Gigi screams at Kim, Shane tells Stacy he wishes her baby was dead, and Stacy starts to spill out the truth - until Kim reminds them all that Stacy, and the baby, are there to stay, just like she is! Stacy claims that she came over to inform them that she found another doctor then she and Kim leave.
Shane apologizes to Rex for saying he wishes the baby were dead, but Gigi holds him close and says, "I totally understand."
Keaton's Working For...
After taking a shower, Rex and Gigi decide to head back up to their room and enjoy some more alone time - until Gigi brings up Stacy being the only one who could interrupt them now. Rex still plans to be there for the baby then assures Gigi that she's the only one he's thinking about right now. Rex and Gigi prepare for a romantic dinner at home and talk about taking a trip, and leaving in the morning, but their plans are halted when Rex remembers he has a doctor's appointment with Stacy tomorrow.
