Before Gigi leaves to stop by work, she encourages Rex that their couples therapy tonight will help them - and that she doesn't want anything messing them up again. Once Gigi is gone, Natalie arrives, shows Rex the latest headline about Jared then says, "I need you to find my husband before the police do!" Rex asks if Natalie thinks that Jared committed the murders, and she admits that she's not sure what to make of anything that Jared has told her. Rex starts jotting down details, as Natalie recants everything that's gone on. "If he did kill those people," Natalie says. "He had a really good reason." Rex agrees to help then looks at a matchbox that Natalie found in her and Jared's bedroom, one she didn't show John. He informs that The Lakeside is hours from here, and though Rex says he can't go tonight, Natalie desperately begs for his help - and Rex finally agrees! Rex wants to call Gigi but knows she could get in trouble by knowing about their trip - since they're withholding evidence. "I'll handle Gigi," Rex's sighs.
Kim and Stacy go to Rodi's and hand Schuyler concert tickets - for Gigi's favorite 90's band - and suggest he ask her to go then take her home and bag her! Schuyler reminds the girls that Gigi and Rex are together then walks away, as Stacy and Kim give up and head to a table… Later, Gigi arrives and talks to Schuyler about her and Rex - until she sees the concert tickets, the ones she tried so hard to get! Schuyler offers the tickets to Gigi and Rex, but Gigi says they can't make it - since her and Rex are going to couples counseling, with the hopes of strengthening their relationship. Schuyler is happy for her, but when Gigi gets a call from Rex saying he can't make couples therapy, because something huge came up for work and he needs to leave town tonight, she can't imagine what could be more important than fixing their relationship. Gigi rants to Schuyler, who tries to defend Rex, but ends up taking her mind off her problems by suggesting they go to the concert together! "Sold," Gigi says.
I Need To Make An Appointment, Please!
At the carriage house, Shane says to Rex, "I want you and Mom to get along again." While Shane is off getting ready for volunteer day, Roxy arrives to pick Shane up - and Rex hears that Gigi gave Roxy permission, without his! Rex still feels burned by Roxy's deception, but Gigi urges him to allow Roxy to take Shane - in order for them to have some time to work on their problems. Rex finally approves then promises to pass along Roxy's support to Natalie.
After Roxy and Shane leave, Gigi says, "We have to fix this, us," and when Rex wonders what she has in mind, Gigi replies, "Couples therapy. I even know someone we could see, Dr. Marty Saybrooke." Gigi makes the call and sets up an appointment for tonight! Rex agrees that it's time they get back on track.
Jared Makes A Confession!
Out back of Rodi's, Rex drills Gigi to admit that she's jealous of Schuyler and Kim - and Gigi finally says, "Okay, I'm jealous!" Gigi claims she's worried about Schuyler, as a friend, but Rex says, "You're only jealous if you have feelings for someone. Do you have feelings for Schuyler Joplin?" Gigi finally admits, "Yes," and Rex flips out, feeling stupid for trusting Gigi and Schuyler. Gigi brings up his infidelity with Stacy, but Rex makes it clear that he didn't have feelings for her - unlike hers for Schuyler! Gigi admits that she can't stand the fact that he's having a child with Stacy - and that's why she spends so much time with Schuyler. "I need him," Gigi says, but she's just not sure why or in what capacity - but Rex vows to give her space until she figures it out. Rex makes it clear that he's not breaking up with her, but says she needs to figure things out - and Gigi replies, "I want you, only you, we'll deal with everything else. It's a huge mess, and we made it together." Rex pulls her close, and they professes their love - vowing to work out their issues.
Fish Snags Himself a Big Catch!
Gigi apologizes to Schuyler, at Rodi's, for shouting out the movie's ending then says how weird it was that they all ended up at the same movie. Schuyler wonders if it was more than a coincidence that they were all there then admits that Kim suggested that Gigi followed them there because she was jealous! Gigi denies it and assures Schuyler that he can always talk to her, especially when Schuyler says that he and Kim probably won't be going out again.
Suddenly, Kim appears and starts acting like she and Schuyler had a great time. When Gigi is called away on an order, Schuyler wants to know what Kim's up to, who explains for him to follow her lead because they are making Gigi jealous - and Gigi stomps over and demands to know what kind of bad advice Kim is giving him, which proves it! As Kim accuses Gigi of not being able to keep her eyes off her and Schuyler, Rex appears and overhears! "You guys are hot for each other," Kim says to Gigi and Schuyler. "Ask Rex!" As Rex pulls Gigi away to talk, Schuyler rants at Kim for making him so uncomfortable - but Kim points out that now he can't deny that Gigi has a thing for him - and neither can Rex!
Another Man's Wife...
Outside of Rodi's, Kim overhears Rex ordering movie tickets for him and Gigi then makes a call to order tickets for her and Schuyler! Inside, Schuyler approaches Gigi, waiting to know how he looks for his date, which puts Gigi in a jealous uproar. Just then Rex approaches wanting to know who Schuyler's date is, and Kim appears at Schuyler's side saying, "I am." Before Schuyler takes Kim away, Gigi gets some stripper jabs in then is excited when Rex announces he's whisking her away to see a chick flick! Meanwhile, walking outside, Kim tells Schuyler the same thing!
Kim and Schuyler arrive at the theater first then Rex and Gigi, who spot them, and take seats across the aisle. The movie starts and Gigi throws some popcorn at Kim, who cattily eats it then kisses Schuyler, leaving Gigi asking Rex, "Do you want to go?" Though Rex wants to stay, Gigi blurts out how the movie ends - and Schuyler flips around, snapping at 'whoever just ruined the movie' realizing it was Gigi! After Gigi and Rex leave, Schuyler hopes she's okay - and Kim plays on Schuyler's feelings, saying that Gigi was looking at him the way he looks at her! Knowing he'd rather be with Gigi, Kim kisses Schuyler goodbye and urges him to follow his heart. Schuyler thinks over what Kim said…
Later, back at Rodi's, Rex assures Gigi that she didn't ruin their time, as she rants about Kim - and how she was all over Schuyler, to which Rex suggests, "Maybe you have a problem with him being out with Kim?" Gigi just doesn't want Schuyler to get hurt, which Rex understands, then agrees to take Gigi home for a night of romance. However, as Rex goes to get the car, it's obvious he's upset by Gigi's distraction with Kim and Schuyler - and Gigi, back at the table, thinks back to seeing Kim kissing Schuyler…
