After Stacy leaves, Gigi goes behind the bar, pours herself a drink and starts pounding shots! Though Schuyler warns her that the booze will only numb her, Gigi admits that she doesn't want to feel anything - especially what she feels for Schuyler! The booze hits Gigi fast, and she asks Schuyler to take her home.
Lured Into A Trap!
Across the square, Gigi runs into Schuyler and again says she doesn't want to have feelings for him then explains that she's ready to concentrate on her relationship with Rex. Schuyler reminders her that Rex isn't there for her then leaves, as Noelle approaches. Noelle talks about her indecisiveness over the mayoral vote, which leads Gigi to wonder what if the love of her life isn't Rex - but is someone else. She explains her love of Rex, to Noelle, as well as how she wanted to kiss Schuyler. Noelle can understand why Gigi turned to Schuyler but warns her not to 'stir' her emotions too much in the other direction - unless she's done with Rex!
After placing her vote, Marty runs into Gigi, who has received Rex's message that he's going to Michigan to see his sick aunt. Though Gigi apologizes for missing their session, Marty suggests that Gigi come in alone - to get a head start on their issues. Gigi stares at Schuyler. Later, John arrives and informs Marty that he has no idea where Natalie and Rex have gone… Marty tells John that she doesn't know where Natalie is but relays what Gigi said, that Rex went to Michigan! John realizes that Brody is also in Michigan - on a family emergency! "I think someone's trying to keep Rex from helping Natalie," John says. "The same person who is trying to keep Brody from helping Jessica."
Halloween Confessions...
Roxy arrives at the Halloween Party and mistakes Schuyler, who is still in costume, for Rex! After Shane lets her know that Batman is Schuyler, he thanks Roxy for sending him to deliver the costumes for them. Shane wonders where Roxy is going tonight, since she's not dressed up, and Roxy convinces Gigi to let her take Shane to the rally.
In a dark corner, Gigi sees Schuyler holding a letter from the college that he applied to, and after she opens it for him and announces that he's been accepted, Schuyler kisses Gigi! Schuyler immediately pulls away and apologizes, but Gigi reminds him that she didn't stop him - and that she admitted to Rex that she has feelings for him! "What are we going to do about this?" Schuyler asks, after Gigi claims that she doesn't want to feel this way.
Passions Ignite!
Back in Llanview, Schuyler, Gigi and Shane arrive at the Halloween Party and get into an argument with Todd, Blair and Jack over who's going to win the best costume contest. "The only prize sex offenders get is an ankle bracelet!" Todd tells Schuyler. When it's time to start the judging, The Mannings and Gigi's clan exchange barbs then they're both called up as finalists - with the judge announcing Todd as Blair's husband, and Schuyler as Gigi's! After each team takes the runway, taking jabs at each other along the way, Schuyler, Gigi and Shane are crowned the winners! Regardless of their loss, Todd tells Blair he's enjoyed hanging out with her and the kids then they go bob for apples!
Victims Of The Unknown...
At the carriage house, Shane wonders why his dad didn't tell his mom where he was going out of town and is upset that Rex will miss the Halloween party. After Gigi explains, she sends Shane in the kitchen to get some things ready for the party then answers the door to John, who wants to know where Rex is. When Shane comes back into the room, asking for his mom's help, Gigi follows Shane back into the kitchen - and John takes down Rex's credit card number, from the statement on the desk! After Gigi returns and claims she doesn't know where Rex is, John leaves then Gigi takes a call from Rex, tells him John was looking for him then says, "Whatever," when Rex claims he loves her more than anything.
Later, Schuyler drops the costumes off to Gigi and Shane and turns to leave, but Shane stops him and asks him to wear one of their costumes, as he and his mom need another person, since his dad is gone, to help them win the best costume prize! Later, in costume, knowing Rex wanted to have a photo of them dressed up, Shane takes their picture and says, "Dad's going to love this." Gigi and Schuyler share a wayward glance.
On The Hunt For Jared Banks!
Schuyler and Gigi arrive back to the carriage house, excited from the concert. Trying to stay off of the topic of Rex and Stacy, Gigi grabs her iPod, since her stereo speakers are broken, and plays some old tunes. Just then, Gigi gets a call from Rex, and though Rex can't give her the details of his case, he informs Gigi that he's out of town and doesn't know how long he'll be gone. "I miss you," Rex says, and Gigi replies, "Good," then hangs up on him! After Gigi rants to Schuyler a bit, he thanks her for the fun night then leaves…
Later, Rex arrives at the carriage house, claiming that he doesn't want to let Gigi down ever again then takes her in a kiss. However, when she realizes she was only fantasizing, Gigi continues listening to her music, and never hears her phone ringing - it's Rex calling again.
