Just as Gigi arrives home, Rex answers a call, but it's a hang-up - it was Schuyler! Gigi wonders how Rex is doing, but they are interrupted by a call from John, who tells them Jared died, then Gigi sends Rex off to be with his sister.
After Rex leaves, Schuyler appears, and Gigi lets him in - and informs him that Jared is dead. Schuyler wonders what he can do to help, but Gigi admits he shouldn't even be there. Schuyler agrees, but before he leaves, he goes over his conversation with Roxy, at Rodi's, and the fact that he's almost sure that Kim and Stacy overheard. Gigi knows it's only a matter of time before they tell Rex. Suddenly, Roxy comes through the door, starts punching Schuyler for being with Gigi again then warns that Kim and Stacy are on the hunt for Gigi's head! Gigi agrees to tell Rex the truth, when he gets back from seeing Natalie, then informs Roxy that Jared is dead. Roxy is shocked, and guzzles from her flask, then heads to the hotel to get to Rex - before Stacy and Kim do! Schuyler leaves too, hoping he can talk Stacy out of causing more problems for Rex.
Her Quest To Keep Them Apart...
Rex arrives home to the carriage house and tells Gigi he ran into Roxy - and found something out. Gigi immediately thinks he's talking about her being in Schuyler's room, but Rex informs her that he found out he's Mitch Laurence's son, who is the scum of the earth. After Gigi does a computer search, she wonders if Roxy could be lying, but Rex shows her his birth certificate. Though Gigi reminds him that Mitch is dead, Rex says, "It doesn't change the fact that he's my father." Rex talks about Jessica being his sister but wonders how he'll make peace with having Mitch's blood running through his veins. Gigi assures Rex that he's the man she fell in love with then shows Rex the sonogram of his and Stacy's baby, saying the baby is perfect - even though it has a mother like Stacy - and so is Rex, despite who his father is. Changing the subject, Rex wonders what Gigi was about to tell him when he got home, but Gigi says it doesn't matter then assures Rex that he's a great dad. Both exchange I love yous.
Deathbed Confessions...
Back in Llanview, Gigi wakes up with a hangover in Schuyler's bed and asks Schuyler what happened, who admits that nothing did - he slept on the couch. Gigi starts flipping out, thinking she left Shane home alone, but Schuyler assures her that Noelle is still with Shane. Gigi hugs him, for taking care of her, then says, "I won't forget this." Gigi gives Schuyler back his sweatshirt then leaves.
Suddenly, Gigi arrives home, and Noelle and Shane make a quick getaway. As Rex hugs Gigi, saying how much he missed her, Rex smells tequila! Gigi claims she broke a bottle at Rodi's this morning then rants about what Corrine told her. Rex explains that Corrine lied then covers Gigi up, who he sees isn't feeling well. When Rex asks if it's okay if he goes to take care of something, promising to tell her everything when he returns, Gigi lets him go. Once alone, Gigi calls Schuyler to thank him again - and Schuyler warns her that Roxy saw her leaving his room!
A Grave Discovery...
When Gigi tries to seduce Schuyler, in his apartment, Schuyler admits that he wants her but reminds Gigi that she doesn't want to be with him - she wants Rex! Gigi stills tries to convince Schuyler to sleep with her, but he helps her put her shirt back on then advises that she forget about what she wants now and to think about how she'll feel later. Schuyler upsets Gigi when he reminds her that she's only using him - and that she loves Rex - but Gigi suggests that maybe Rex isn't who she's supposed to be with. Gigi backtracks and assures Schuyler that she doesn't sleep around - and that she stayed faithful to Rex all of these years. Over talk of her past, after finding out that Rex wasn't coming back to Michigan, Gigi admits that she still feels alone at times, even while she's with Rex. Schuyler finally convinces Gigi to let him take her home, but after Gigi gets news that Noelle is going to keep Shane for the night, she asks Schuyler to hold her - then falls asleep on his bed.
A Declaration Of Innocence...
Back in Llanview, though Gigi asks Schuyler to take her home from Rodi's, he tries to get out of it then finally agrees to take Gigi to his place - so Shane doesn't see her drunk. He tries to get her to call Rex before they leave, but Gigi refuses, still feeling neglected by Rex.
When they arrive at Schuyler's apartment, Gigi apologizes when she realizes that Schuyler doesn't have any alcohol then says, "All I need is you!" Gigi takes Schuyler in a kiss, but he pulls away and tries to dismiss Gigi's accusations against Rex - even when Gigi reminds him that Rex's Aunt Corrine told her that she wasn't really sick but that Rex needed a break from Gigi! As Gigi suggests that Schuyler make love to her, her cell phone vibrates - it's Rex trying to call, but she doesn't notice it! Gigi takes off her shirt, and Schuyler tries to fight back his feelings and do the right thing.
John Arrives In Michigan!
Gigi stops by Rodi's to get her paycheck and gives Schuyler the cold shoulder, saying she's going out of town to help Rex, at his aunt's, then admits she came too close to throwing everything away!
Back at Rodi's, after Gigi tells Schuyler that she's not going to Michigan, and refuses to cry on his shoulder, Stacy appears and taunts her about needing to talk to Rex. Gigi sucks it up, asks if the baby's okay then cringes as Stacy shows her the sonogram picture! Schuyler looks over the photo then thinks back to Stacy drugging him - as Stacy assures Gigi, "The baby is Rex's! You need to learn how to share." Stacy asks Gigi to give Rex the photo then takes one more jab at her before leaving - reminding Gigi that Rex never saw a sonogram photo of Shane!
