Staring into the hospital nursery, Natalie and Jared remember how close they came to losing everything that mattered to them. "My family is really messed up right now. But when I look at Chloe, I see hope," Natalie says then wonders if Jared will ever be able to look at Jess without seeing Tess. They both agree it'll be hard - knowing Tess may be able to come back, and Natalie and Jared both know Jessica's forgiveness of them will prevent that, to which Natalie gets an idea - something to do with her baby.
Viki runs into Natalie and Jared outside of the nursery and lets them know she's going to take Jessica's baby home today.
Thanksgiving In Llanview!
With everyone gathered in the living room, Nora assures Clint that their catered dinner is on its way then they listen as Bo gives his thanks to Rex, Matthew, Roxy, Cole and Shane. "I want to thank you for helping my friend, Balsom, for finding his way back." Just as Renee begins her thanks, Jared and Natalie appear in the doorway! While Jared apologizes and agrees to leave, with Natalie warning that if Jared goes she goes too, Nora answers the door - and Renee hugs Natalie and tells Jared, "You may not be a Buchanan, but you sure as hell behave like one."
Nora then returns to the living room, with the caterer, who was just in an accident - and is covered with their Thanksgiving diner!
At the Buenos Dias Café, Viki, Gigi, Charlie, Noelle and Moe prepare a Thanksgiving diner, as Marcie and Michael arrive, followed by the Buchanans, the Vegas and their crew, as well as Dorian's family. After Shane introduces his dad, Rex, to Moe and Noelle, Llanview celebrates Thanksgiving as one.
Three's A Crowd!
Viki and Clint arrive at the hospital to take Jessica to St. Ann's. When Natalie and Jared show up, wanting to help, Jessica doesn't turn them away - and everyone watches as Viki unties Jessica's hands, in order for her to sign her commitment papers. Though Jessica signs, and is ready to head out, Viki reminds her, "You need to say goodbye to your daughters first." Later, holding Bree, Jessica tries to remain strong then cries, "I don't know how I'm going to leave you." As everyone watches, Jessica apologizes to Bree for not being there but promises that once she returns, she's going to be her mommy again.
Now holding her baby, Jessica sobs, "You're so beautiful. I wish your daddy could've seen you. He would've loved you so much." …Never are they aware that Tina is watching them all from the doorway… Jessica then names her baby, Chloe, says a final goodbye to her girls then falls apart in Natalie's comforting arms.
Inner Power Struggle!
Natalie and Jared enter Jessica's hospital room and are forced to confront the face of their attacker! Jessica apologizes to Natalie and Jared and says, "I'm Tess, and I'm Jessica, and I'm responsible for what she does. I asked you here so I can beg your forgiveness, but I don't know how you can forgive me for what I did to you if I can't forgive you for what you've done to me." Though ashamed of what she did, Tess was the one who forgave them for Nash's death - not her - and the pain, anger and resentment is still there. Jared isn't as understanding as Natalie, who gets what Jessica is saying - that they are right back where they were.
Once Natalie joins Jared in the hallway, she tells him that things will be okay - as long as Tess never comes out again - never realizing that Tess has reemerged within Jessica back in her room! Back inside her head, Bess watches as Tess takes over then looks at Jessica, who is now locked in the cage!
Tess Wanted Natalie and Jared To Suffer...
Natalie and Jared meet Roxy at Rex's loft. Once Rex and Gigi appear, Natalie runs into Rex's arms and says, "I thought I'd never see you again." After briefly talking about Tess's wrongdoings, Brody and Shane - and how he must be so upset about his dad shooting Rex - Roxy blurts out, "Your brother is a daddy!" Over a family hug, Roxy announces that she has to leave then Natalie tries to explain how much she misses Jessica, who will always wear Tess's face. Just as Natalie and Jared are getting ready to leave, Clint calls, informs her that he told Jessica about what Tess did then says, "If you're up to it, Jessica would like to talk to you and Jared."
