Shortly after, Cole and Starr gather everyone around and announce that they are not getting married, that it's not the right time, which makes Todd happy! Starr assures him that they will marry soon, and if he can't be happy for them he just better not come! Cole goes to John, wanting to know when the community service starts, and John thinks they should talk about that now. Cole and Starr say goodbye, and Starr can't wait to tell Hope that they'll be seeing Cole every night - as John watches with concern.
Just as Cole and Starr are about to be pronounced husband and wife, John arrives at the mansion and announces that Cole is not going to prison! Starr and Cole embrace, as John explains that Cole will now have community service - and Todd listens on as Cole, with excitement, tells Starr that they'll never be apart again! As Marty pulls Cole into a hug, Jack and Dorian want to know if there's going to be a wedding - and Todd announces that since Cole's a free man, the wedding is canceled! However, Cole tells Starr that he still wants to marry her - and insists that Todd listen to him! Cole reminds Todd of what he said about him then screams for Todd to shut up, as Todd throws blame on Blair for Starr getting pregnant!
Outside, Langston is happy to see Markko, who's shown up to be Cole's best man. When Dorian comes upon them, she scolds the kids for risking the chance of making Markko's parents accept their relationship by sneaking around. Dorian suggests they postpone the dinner party, but Markko and Langston won't hear of it. Dorian quickly rushes off, as Addie yells from inside, "It's Showtime." While Langston and Markko think Dorian is hiding something, Dorian leaves Viki a message and begs her to show up at the party!
Gathered in the living room, once Todd is forced to hand over the consent form, the Justice of the Peace begins the wedding. Just as he asks if anyone has reason to believe Starr and Cole shouldn't be married, Todd says, "Wait, I have something to say." Though Todd doesn't think any marriage is a good idea, he hopes he's wrong now then prays things work out for Cole and Starr - so Starr doesn't end up like him.
As Starr and Cole are taking their vows, and are just about to be pronounced husband and wife, Addie looks at the doorway and says, "John McBain."
Suddenly, Addie comes through the front door, lets Blair know that she knows what's been going on there then questions Blair's mood, which Blair blames on Todd! After a little pep talk from Addie about how people, like Cole and Starr, are meant to be, Starr and Langston appear and Addie hugs them close, saying that she planted a tree for Cole and Starr - because she knows they'll continue to grow together.
With everyone now in the living room, and after Dorian assures Langston that everyone with be at their dinner party, Cole and Starr take each other's hands and say, "Let's get married," with Todd and Marty watching on nervously.
Addie arrives in Blair's hospital room throwing rice to celebrate her marriage to John! However, Blair confesses that John only married her so she could keep her kids - because he's still in love with Marty. As Blair thinks back to Tea's plan, she relays to her mother how Tea explained her plan then looked at John and said, "John, will you marry Blair?" Blair is forced to admit that there wasn't anything mentioned about love and recalls how John said, "So, let's do it." When Blair questioned John about his feelings for Marty, John only told her he refused to walk away from her again, after getting stabbed, then asked Blair, "Will you marry me?" Blair tells Addie that John has given up Marty for her and the kids then thinks back to their intimate wedding in her hospital room.
Starr arrives to tell Blair the good news, and while John isn't with her, Blair receives a call from Todd, who says, "Make no mistake, Mrs. McBain, you're going to pay for this."
At the hospital, when Michael tells John, Addie and Starr that Blair is awake, Addie insists that Starr go in first. When Starr goes to Blair's bedside, Blair asks what happened, but Starr skates the question by promising that the boys know how much Blair loves them - and how glad they all are to have her back! Starr heads back outside Blair's room and tells John that she only told Blair that she fell and hit her head. Once Addie returns from seeing Blair, she tells John, "She asked to see you."
