SHAUN EVANS'S HISTORY
A bodyguard with the build to make anyone think twice before talking, Shaun wandered into Llanview alongside Vincent Jones. Aside from Vincent's protector, Shaun is his right-hand man and most trusted friend. Since coming to town, he's visited Nash's vineyard making sure that his boss's money was being put to good use, stood in front of the police when John McBain got a little too close for Vincent's comfort, and has even tried to patch up Vincent's tarnished relationship with Layla Williamson by delivering flowers to the beautiful woman in distress.
Although Shaun rarely made his presence visible, everyone knew that if Vincent Jones was spotted alone, his bodyguard Shaun was lurking close by within earshot of his boss!
After Vincent left town, Shaun went on to work for Blair Cramer, and when he's not protecting the Manning children, he's dating Rachel Gannon - and trying to deal with his arrogant brother Greg's presence in Llanview.
While trying to protect Starr and Hope from a big Llanview drug dealer, Serge, Shaun was shot, leaving his life hanging in the balance.

Monday, November 16 2009: Goodbye Jared...
At the counter, Destiny rants to Shaun about going to London then sees Dorian - and brings up how much David loves her, even though she chose Amelia. Over talk of relationships, Destiny says how sorry she is for what happened with Rachel. Suddenly, Dorian approaches, rants about the votes then Destiny confesses to her that David still loves her! Destiny urges Dorian to call David, but she heads off on her quest to find out who voted against her - after promising to vote for her.
Thursday, November 12 2009: Mitch Shoots Jared!
Though Destiny goes to Shaun, who's staying at Todd's, for help, he vows, "I'm not talking to Greg ever again," then finds out about Destiny's trip to London! Shaun is furious, as Destiny explains what happened, and how Matthew took off for Seattle, then brings up Greg - and her wanting Greg to go to Seattle to help Matthew. Destiny thinks maybe Rachel could help, but Shaun explains that Rachel's the reason he can't talk to Greg. Destiny can't believe what Rachel did and thinks of Matthew, and Dani, when Shaun says that things change with people once a pretty face comes along. Shaun refuses to help Destiny get Greg to agree to go to Matthew then Destiny leaves.
