Over at LaBoulie, Dorian is ordering around a chef and giving Langston the rundown on truffles. When Lola appears to know about them as well, Dorian calls her father - and her - a con artist! Dorian apologizes to everyone then includes Lola in all the preparations. Once their dinner is ready, Jack notices that the turkey is missing, to which Dorian chats off her fancy dinner menu - minus the turkey and mash potatoes. Though they appreciate Dorian's gesture, Blair and Addie agree that Dorian is driving everyone crazy!
Just then, there's a knock on the door, to which Dorian rushes to get the fancy dessert she ordered. When she sees that it's her guardian angel, Mel, who suggests that she just order a pizza and enjoy her family, Dorian thanks her - but is shocked that Mel ate her chocolate covered strawberries! Once Mel leaves, Dorian goes back inside, apologizes to her family for being so over the top then suggests they head to Carlotta's diner for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
At the Buenos Dias Café, Viki, Gigi, Charlie, Noelle and Moe prepare a Thanksgiving diner, as Marcie and Michael arrive, followed by the Buchanans, the Vegas and their crew, as well as Dorian's family. After Shane introduces his dad, Rex, to Moe and Noelle, Llanview celebrates Thanksgiving as one.
Three's A Crowd!
From the mansion, Langston calls Lola to invite her to Thanksgiving dinner. After Vanessa allows Lola to go, Langston promises that her and Markko will be right over to pick her up.
You Do Know Me, Don't You?
After Starr leaves another message for Todd to call her back, Langston appears in her hospital room, rushes into her arms and cries, "I'm so sorry about your baby." Starr talks about how beautiful her baby was and how she'll never be able to watch her grown up with Marcie. Wanting to help Starr, Langston hands her something to remember her baby by. "I tracked down Dr. Joplin. It's a loc of Hope's hair." Starr breaks down in Langston's arms and cries, "Thank you." Starr shows Langston the locket that Marcie gave her, places the loc of her baby's hair inside it then allows Langston to put the necklace around her neck.
She's Gone...
Outside of Starr's room, Cole, Langston and Dorian wait impatiently for news on Starr and the baby, worrying that something is wrong. Suddenly, Blair appears, who instructs Cole to go to Starr. Once Cole is gone, Blair tells Dorian and Langston that Starr is okay - but that the baby 'was' a girl… Langston and Dorian grieve, along with Blair, for Starr and her baby.
Todd And Marty... Lovers!
Viki joins the family in Starr's room to let Starr know she's thinking of her, to which Starr comments on Jessica being due too. After Viki leaves, Blair and Marcie go to scrub up, leaving Langston and Dorian to reassure Starr that she and the baby are going to be fine. Just as they are wheeling Starr into delivery, Cole rushes in and promises to be there when she gets out.
791 Miles From Llanview...
In the courtroom, although Nora has announced that the state is seeking a murder charge against Vanessa, Vanessa pleads, "Not guilty, Your Honor." As both sides argue their case, Blair enters the courtroom, sits next to Dorian and whispers her worry in regards to her conversation with John. Just then, Cris stands, asks for bail to be granted and promises that he'll make sure Vanessa doesn't leave the country - and it works! Once bail is granted, Langston and Markko tell Vanessa and Lola they can count on both of them. Cris offers his place to Vanessa and Lola, and Sarah has no choice but to agree - reluctantly.
With her family gathered around her, in her hospital room, Starr begins to go into active labor, to which Dr. Joplin instructs Janet, "Come on, nurse."
The Neverending Search…
Langston visits Starr in her room and the two hug after Langston explains that she won't be leaving. However, after Langston sees a bag packed on Starr's bed, she worries where Starr is going, to which Starr explains that she's simply packing her bag for the hospital. After talk of Langston's ordeal, Langston looks through a book and rants off a checklist of things for Starr to bring to the hospital - and things for the baby upon its arrival home. Langston quickly stops and the two talk about everything from the delivery to Starr's relationship with Todd, to which Starr promises, "There's another side to him. I just wish there was someone out there who would help him be the man he's capable of being."
