Let The Search Begin

As Rex and Bruce struggle, the gun goes off, Bruce is shot dead! Adriana runs into Rex's arms, thanking him for saving her yet again. Dorian looks over Bruce, says they're going to call the police, and Adriana glares at her mother, says she's going to tell the cops everything! Suddenly, Rex notices that Adriana is bleeding. However, it's not Adriana, it's Rex who's bleeding. Rex falls to the ground. Dorian calls the police, reports a gunshot wound. She instructs Adriana to hold a cloth to Rex's wound. After telling Adriana he loves her, Rex stops breathing! Dorian and Adriana frantically perform CPR on Rex, as the ambulance shows up. Adriana goes in the ambulance with Rex and tells Dorian she never wants to see her again!

A Race Against Time

Rex and Dorian race to meet with Bruce, to save Adriana. Rex tells Dorian that HE is calling the shots now, again makes Dorian aware of the danger she put Adriana in, wants to know if it was worth it. Dorian says she never intended for this to happen. At the rest stop, Adriana pleads for Bruce to put the gun down, says she doesn't want anyone to get hurt. Bruce's advances on Adriana scares her, but Bruce proceeds to touch her. Suddenly, a car shows up. When Bruce turns to see who it is, Adriana hits him over the head with a stick. But Bruce grabs her before she runs away, throws her to the ground, just as Dorian shows up. As Bruce aims the gun at Adriana, Rex storms in with his gun on Bruce! Bruce scoops up Adriana, holding the gun to her, demanding that Rex drop his gun. Once he does, Bruce lets her go and Adriana runs into Rex's arms. Just then, Dorian pulls a gun on Bruce! Adriana tries kicking the gun from Bruce's hand as Rex takes him to the ground. As Bruce and Rex struggle, the gun goes off!

Who Do You Love

Rex is in the holding container where Bruce held Adriana, but it's empty. He calls Dorian with the news, tells her it's all her fault. Bruce has Adriana at a rest area, says if Dorian doesn't come through with the money it could be her final resting place! Adriana overhears a phone call where someone is threatening Bruce, saying he owes them money. Bruce explains to Adriana how he got himself in such a debt, says he needs the money from Dorian, that he has nothing to lose by killing Adriana if he has to. Adriana is appalled that her mother did this to her. She can't wait to tell Dorian that she hates her for doing this! Back at Dorian's, Rex shows up with Adriana's hair tie. As they blame each other for Adriana's kidnapping, Bruce calls, says it's time. Dorian wants to talk to Adriana. Adriana tells Dorian he hasn't hurt her, then Bruce gives Dorian the directions to find him and Adriana, to come alone or she's dead. Dorian makes Rex promise that he won't follow her, but Rex insists on going with her.

It's Declaration Day In Llanview

Bruce tells Adriana it's Showtime, that Dorian better not mess with him. After deciding that Dorian can't be trusted, Adriana suggests that if Bruce lets her go, she'll transfer all of her inheritance to him. Bruce tells Adriana to call the bank, but she can't. He figures out that she doesn't have access to the money.

Illusions engulf the minds of Llanview

Adriana dreams that she's killed Rex by hitting him over the head with a lamp. Fully awake, Adriana is sorry for doubting Rex. Bruce walks in, sees Adriana crying. He taunts her about how she threw Rex away. Bruce tells her that Dorian better come up with the ransom money. Adriana tells Bruce she hates Dorian, that she'll never forgive her.

Rex tells Dorian that when the kidnapper calls, she better agree to everything he says! The phone rings, it's Bruce. Dorian tells him she has his money, but she won't give him a penny until she gets Adriana back, that she wants a face to face meeting. Bruce tells her he hopes she doesn't regret her decision and hangs up! Bruce explains to Adriana that Dorian is playing with her life. He's furious! Back at the mansion, Rex gets his laptop, says he knows where Adriana is!

Time Is Of The Essence

Adriana calls out to Rex, but Bruce grabs the phone and hangs up. Rex demands that Dorian fess up! Knowing that Rex is with Dorian, Bruce thinks Dorian's double-crossing him. The phone rings again. Dorian begs Rex to let her answer it, promises to tell him the truth if he does. It's Bruce. Dorian says she has the money, that she'll do exactly what he wants to get Adriana back. Dorian hangs up with Rex screaming in her ear for answers. When Rex threatens to call the police, Dorian says that Adriana has been kidnapped, by her stalker, but doesn't admit her involvement. Rex wants to call the cops, but Dorian says he can't, that the man will kill her! Rex doesn't trust Dorian, but they decide to put their differences aside to get Adriana back. Bruce tells Adriana if her mother doesn't come through with the money, she'll be the one to pay.

Suspicion

Adriana tells Bruce that Rex will never believe his text message. Dorian is frantic, as she waits for a call from Bruce. Adriana still doesn't believe that Dorian paid Bruce to break up her and Rex. As Bruce tells Adriana how Dorian came about to hire him, she starts to believe him, wants to talk to Dorian.

EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE

Bruce makes a call to Dorian, demanding she pay him 10 million bucks to get Adriana back! Dorian wants to talk to Adriana, but Bruce tells her no, to pay up! Bruce goes to Adriana, explaining he's keeping her hostage for money. Adriana wants to know what the butterfly meant. He tells her he had to make it look as though she was being stalked, that he was getting paid for it. When Adriana wonders why someone would pay to have her stalked, Bruce suggests she ask her mother! Adriana just can't accept that her mother would hurt her like this. Bruce tells her that Dorian never planned that he would hold Adriana for ransom. She still doesn't believe Bruce, says Rex will find her. Bruce sends Rex a text message from Adriana saying she hates him, to leave her alone, she never wants to see him again!

All Eyes Are On Spencer

Dorian is frantic to find her daughter, remembering back on Bruce's threat. Adriana asks Bruce if he was working for Rex. ...No,... he says, taunting her as she tries leaving. However, the door is locked! Bruce tells Adrianna that he has errands to run, locks her up and leaves her in some sort of shipping container. Rex and Roxy are at the station, going through the stalker's letters to Adriana, trying to figure out who the stalker really is. Roxy spots the name Vanessa in one letter. She has finally given Rex a clue!
