At the airport in Llanview, sneezing over his dog, a nun tells David, "God Bless You", which gives David an idea. Whispering to David Vickers the dog, David says, "It was good enough for Todd's son it's good enough for you." David places the dog on the table before the nuns and says, "I'd like to make a donation!" After the nuns agree to take him, David heads off.
Later, at the airport, Viki runs into David, briefly tells him of her journey then the old friends say their goodbyes - each going in another direction!
Off With Your Head!
Back in Llanview, when David arrives at the Buchanan mansion, he tells Nigel, "Vickers and Vickers here," then demands to talk to Nora and Clint. Though Nigel tries to distract David with questions about Alex, David briefly thinks about Alex's beautiful assets then again orders Nigel to announce his presence!
In the living room, Nora listens on as Dallas and Clint reminisce about old times. Just as Nora asks when Dallas plans to leave Llanview, David bursts through the door, throws D. V. the dog into Nigel's care then waits while Nora walks Dallas to the door, to which Dallas informs Nora that her stay in Llanview is open-ended!
After Nora rejoins David and Clint in the living room, David hands Clint a signed paper stating that Dorian has relinquished B.E. back to Clint - then says he is there to collect his ten million dollars! However, Nora and Clint aren't buying it, and Nora shows David his annulment listed in the paper - the one he signed before Clint even offered him the deal! Clint refuses to allow David to scam him - and David Vickers the dog piddles on Clint's carpet! Once David is shown out, Clint thanks Nora for uncovering the annulment notice in the paper then says, "I'm just grateful that I didn't have to tell David Vickers that he's a Buchanan."
On his way out, sneezing from an allergy to his namesake, David again doesn't see his reflection in a mirror!
On A Hunt To Save The Queen!
David arrives at Rodie's with David Vickers the dog in tow to hear that Carlotta's diner burned down! David quickly thinks back to lighting the check on fire then tells his namesake, "I'm pretty sure I burned down the diner." Over a drink and some snack food, David bonds with his new friend, David Vickers the dog! "How do I get myself into these messes and talking to a Shih Tzu in a bar. I miss the good old days when I didn't have a conscience."
At the bar, John takes a seat next to David and says, "I heard you were back in town - and your little dog too." Over talk of what Spencer did to John's father, David plays the 'what if' game, wondering how their lives would be different if he hadn't grown up with Ned Truman as a father then says to John, "Maybe your father would be alive." Later, when David goes to leave, he looks in a mirror on his way out and doesn't see his reflection! When he takes a double take, he sees his reflection but says, "That was weird… There must be a simple explanation."
You Win… We're Through...
At Dorian's, as Addie and Dorian are arguing in the foyer, they hear music coming from the living room. As they enter, they find David, on bended knee, who then asks Addie to marry him! Although Dorian demands that there will be no wedding, David continues to sweet talk Addie, except Addie admits that dumping David was on her famous 'to-do list'. "I just never got around to dumping you until now," Addie says. "You're loads of fun, and oh that body… but you don't love me and I don't love you. The last thing on my list is to find love." Dorian screams her praises then tells David to get out!
Just as Blair says that she doesn't feel comfortable weighing in on Starr's decision surrounding the baby, Dorian pushes David into the foyer! "Hi Starr," David says. "How's my favorite teenage statistic?" Addie rushes in with David Vickers the dog, tells David that Madame Delphina said that he and the dog need to stay together then David heads to the door. Once he opens it and finds Cole on the other side, he turns and says to Starr, "Papa Bear is here."
