DAVID VICKERS'S HISTORY
David Vickers first blew into Llanview in 1994 in an attempt to save Dorian Lord from being executed for murdering the great and powerful Victor Lord. In the end, because of the fake proof that David supplied, Dorian was set free.
Since then, David has always held a special place in Dorian's heart and her is his. A comedian of sorts, David has made his way into the beds and wallets of many of Llanview's high society gals! His greed to make a fast buck has gotten David caught up in numerous schemes throughout the years. He's kidnapped almost every one of the Cramer women and slept with them too!
In 2001, as luck would have it, David was at the airport when he overheard Todd Manning tell a drugged Blair that her infant child had died. Thinking the baby was Max Holden's, David watched as Todd handed the baby off to a couple of nuns! David was able to get baby Jack back and took him to Todd as a means of blackmail! Not knowing that the child was really his, Todd paid up and ordered David to get rid of the kid! However, after Todd found out that the baby was his, he forced David to get Jack back!
Having grown up with a crook for a father, David had been forced to dapper in some shady dealings. In 2006, it would come out that, as a young boy, David had shot and killed Detective Thomas McBain causing David's years of guilt to come full circle. However, after much investigating, it turned out that David's brother Spencer Truman had been the real killer, leaving David with a sense of relief.
No longer having anything holding him to Llanview, David took off for Hollywood on a quest for stardom! However, David returned to Llanview on May 7, 2008 and found a new way to survive - by marring Addie Cramer and living off of Dorian's money! Little does he know, he's the long lost Buchanan heir - and already rich himself!

Wednesday, August 06 2008: I'd Like To Make A Donation!
At the airport in Llanview, sneezing over his dog, a nun tells David, "God Bless You", which gives David an idea. Whispering to David Vickers the dog, David says, "It was good enough for Todd's son it's good enough for you." David places the dog on the table before the nuns and says, "I'd like to make a donation!" After the nuns agree to take him, David heads off.
Later, at the airport, Viki runs into David, briefly tells him of her journey then the old friends say their goodbyes - each going in another direction!
Monday, August 04 2008: Off With Your Head!
Back in Llanview, when David arrives at the Buchanan mansion, he tells Nigel, "Vickers and Vickers here," then demands to talk to Nora and Clint. Though Nigel tries to distract David with questions about Alex, David briefly thinks about Alex's beautiful assets then again orders Nigel to announce his presence!
In the living room, Nora listens on as Dallas and Clint reminisce about old times. Just as Nora asks when Dallas plans to leave Llanview, David bursts through the door, throws D. V. the dog into Nigel's care then waits while Nora walks Dallas to the door, to which Dallas informs Nora that her stay in Llanview is open-ended!
After Nora rejoins David and Clint in the living room, David hands Clint a signed paper stating that Dorian has relinquished B.E. back to Clint - then says he is there to collect his ten million dollars! However, Nora and Clint aren't buying it, and Nora shows David his annulment listed in the paper - the one he signed before Clint even offered him the deal! Clint refuses to allow David to scam him - and David Vickers the dog piddles on Clint's carpet! Once David is shown out, Clint thanks Nora for uncovering the annulment notice in the paper then says, "I'm just grateful that I didn't have to tell David Vickers that he's a Buchanan."
On his way out, sneezing from an allergy to his namesake, David again doesn't see his reflection in a mirror!
