Back in the church, as the minister continues to pray, John pulls Bo aside to tell him what's going on - and Jared's coffin starts to open! Slowly, Mitch sits up and smiles to the crowd, as everyone gasps in horror!
A Slip Of The Tongue...
Kim arrives at the Buchanan mansion and pushes herself past Nigel to give Clint her condolences for Jared. Kim claims that Jared was going to hire her, and that she already quit her job, then Clint calls Kevin to see if Jared discussed 'new hires' with him. While Kim is asked to wait outside, Clint finds out from Kevin that Jared never talked to him - but explains he never had reason to. After Kevin tells Clint how much he loves him, Clint informs Kim that she has the job!
A Lot To Be Thankful For...
Nora calls Rachel, from the Buchanan mansion, to get an update on Matthew. After Nora hangs up, Bo arrives and tells Nora he misses her, but Nora's heart aches for Clint - and she wonders how she's supposed to break his heart further. Just as both admit how much they love each other, Clint appears, catches Nora and Bo in an embrace then says, "There's no use in you hiding this from me. I know what's going on." Bo and Nora start to stutter, but Clint only says, "I know the two of you would rather be in Seattle with Matthew." Just then, the Evans arrive with a Thanksgiving meal, and Clint asks them not to unpack the meal just yet…
Later, back at Llanfair, when Bree goes to Viki and says, "Gobble, gobble," Viki is upset that she forgot it was Thanksgiving - but is touched when Moe, Noelle, Rex, Shane, Gigi, Dorian, Starr, Cole and Hope arrive to help her family celebrate. Rex joins Natalie to make sure she's okay, while Gigi admits to Noelle that Schuyler managed to stop Stacy from blabbing to Rex about her spending the night at Schuyler's. After Shane gives Charlie his condolences, Rex tells Charlie that he was proud to be his son, for a little while, and Jared was too. Clint arrives next, who joins the family, while Dorian breaks the news to Viki about becoming mayor. Though their conversation is a bit catty, Viki admits that Dorian can be a good mayor - if she does it the right way! With everyone gathered, Viki reads a special poem about appreciating family - and all of the little things that one does to make them happy. When everyone leaves, Charlie stares at a drink but ultimately pours it out.
Stepping Down!
At Llanfair, Clint informs Viki that Natalie is with John - and that the reporters outside are there because she's the new mayor of Llanview! Viki doesn't appear happy then heads outside to make a statement…
Viki goes outside, and after she makes a few comments about Mitch, she thanks everyone for voting for her but claims she will not be able to lead the community as mayor. Viki goes through all of the losses her family is faced with, says it's unfair for her not to give her family her all, during their fight against Mitch, then steps down as mayor and heads back into the house…
Once inside, Clint supports Viki's decision but warns that Dorian will be overjoyed when she hears the news.
She's Not Your Daughter...
Clint answers the door at Llanfair and pulls Nora close, as Bo watches her comfort Clint for his family's loss. Once inside, Clint explains about everything that happened in Napa, and gets the scoop about how Matthew's doing, then thanks them both for being there for them. "I love you both very much," Clint says before he heads up to check on Natalie. Bo and Nora feel guilty, and just as Nora says, "My husband needs me," Clint reappears and screams, "Natalie's gone!" Clint thinks Mitch had something to do with her disappearance, but John calls to say Natalie is with him - and promises to take care of her. After Clint hangs up, he apologizes for jumping the gun, but Nora and Bo vow to be there for him - saying together they'll all get through this. Clint wants to stay at Llanfair for the night, and Nora agrees to stay with him, as Bo heads to check on things at the station.
The Fantasy Within Her Reality...
Back home in Llanview, Clint, Viki and Charlie bring Natalie into Llanfair, who cries, "How am I going to live without Jared?" After Viki promises they'll all be there for Natalie, Natalie hugs Charlie then heads upstairs with Clint.
Viki goes back downstairs and tries to get Charlie to get some sleep. After Clint promises to stay there, and let him know when the police call, to release Jared's body, Charlie heads upstairs with Viki.
