As Nora worries about Cole being pinpointed as the dealer, the mayor arrives at the station, hears why Justin was arrested and accuses John of planting drugs on his son! Nora offers to let Justin 'walk', on the stipulation that he go to a drug treatment program, but the mayor snaps at Justin then demands, "Uncuff my son, he's coming with me!"
Later, the mayor, Justin and Dorian arrive back at campaign headquarters, and while Lowell pushes Justin down in a chair, Dorian convinces him, for campaign sake, to come clean with the public. Lowell then asks for a minute alone with his son, smacks Justin upside the head and seethes, "How could you be so stupid!" Though Justin says that John planted the drugs on him, he's forced to admit that he bought them - from Cole Thornhart!
Back in Bo's office, they worry what to do next, after hearing Justin's admission to his father! Just as John comes in, they all hear the mayor dismiss Justin then make a call to Serge - about how his son was sold drugs by Cole Thornhart! The mayor threatens Serge saying, "That cannot happen again or heads will roll!"
In Bo's office, Bo and John tell Nora that the mayor is behind all the drugs in Llanview. Nora is stunned as Bo and John explain the details, including the dirty cop Keaton, and she can't believe they want her to help them get a warrant, from the only judge around, one who's the mayor's friend, to monitor the mayor - so they can use the tape recording of Lowell and Keaton legally!
Soon after, Judge Runyon meets Bo, Nora and John and listens to the tape and all the details surrounding Cole's undercover work. Though the judge doesn't want to believe what he's hearing about his colleague, the mayor, he signs the warrant!
With Nora and Bo still in his office, they are shocked to see the press release on the mayor - with Justin by his side, the boy who hurt Matthew - the mayor's son!
When Bo, Nora and Matthew walk into the mansion, Clint is forcing David out with a gun! David chums up to Bo, saying, "He's off his meds, Pa," but Clint demands the crew give him the tapes! David introduces, through insult, Nora to the audience, and Matthew enjoys David's reality show - giving him a thumbs-up when David says, "Here's my family, The Bucs!" As Bo tries to get the gun back from Clint, a shot fires, leaving Bo threatening to arrest Clint if he's careless again - but Nora tells Clint to reload once Ford informs her that the mayor gave them a permit for their show! Bo starts to side with Clint, as David keeps up with the narrating, but David really shocks them when he announces that he's been footing Matthew's legal bill! "Brothers till the end," Matthew says.
Markko nervously wants to leave, but David positions the camera then talks about the movie that will come from their true life story. David names off the actors who will play them, suggests they don't need 'a Nora' then Nora starts choking him! As things heat up, David screams for his crew to run, which they all do, then Clint yells from the door, "Run faster!" Clint shoots off another round!
With David gone, Clint refuses to allow David in the house again, but Bo reminds him that David is his son - and he needs to find a way to have a relationship with him! After everyone goes their separate way, David sneaks back in and briefly scolds Matthew, wondering if the surgery could really kill him, then worries about his show - and not having a roof over his head. "Don't worry," Matthew says. "I'll take care of you."
Elijah approaches the stand to cross-examine Matthew about how his own carelessness resulted in his situation. Though Tea protests, Matthew is forced to admit, "I wasn't wearing my seatbelt." Matthew explains why he left the dance in a hurry, but Elijah badgers him - until Destiny stands up and blames Matthew's parents, Becca and Justin for the situation in question! Destiny is asked to take her seat then Elijah continues to discredit Matthew's decision-making abilities. Matthew snaps, saying everyone makes mistakes, even his parents, then tempts Elijah to ask Bo and Nora if they've ever done anything that they regret! Matthew is reminded that this is about his mistakes then Elijah says, "No further questions," just as Tea screams, "Objection!"
