In another section of the plane, Nora feels ill, for tricking their son, but Bo tries to reassure her - and questions if she wants to call everything off. Nora refuses, wanting to save their son, then thanks Bo for standing by her.
Suddenly, Matthew calls them back in to show his parents Destiny's gift, to which Nora promises to take a picture of Matthew in his new shoes - taking his first steps! Nora gets a call from Rachel, saying she convinced Greg to observe over Matthew's surgery, but Nora nervously tells Rachel that their plans have changed - and insists that she and Greg stay in Llanview. "I'll explain everything when we land, please trust me," Nora says then hangs up. After Destiny leaves, the jet takes off and Nora quietly tells Bo about what happened with Rachel - and how Greg agreed to observe Matthew's surgery. Nora worries she hurt Rachel's feelings but still thinks they're making the right decision. Matthew approaches them, wanting to make a list of everyone to call after the surgery, but Bo admits, "We're not going to Seattle."
At the hospital, after Matthew announces to his family that he's able to have surgery in Seattle, by Dr. Nance, Greg appears and informs everyone that he's a great neurosurgeon. Destiny confronts Greg, saying Dr. Nance is second best to him, which brings on questions from Nora and Bo. "Who's got the better track record?" Nora asks, to which Greg admits, "I do." Nora reminds Greg that she could lose her son then begs him to perform the surgery on Matthew, but Greg replies, twice, "I can't, I'm sorry." Nora rushes away, as does Bo and Greg…
Bo finds Nora around the corner, and she breaks down in his arms. Bo warns that they lost - and have to be there for Matthew - but Nora doesn't care if Matthew hates her and says, "There has to be a way to stop this." Finally, Bo says, "Maybe there is."
Still in the hallway, Matthew tells Destiny that if his parents won't go to Seattle with him, he'll go alone - but Destiny offers to go with him. Suddenly, Nora and Bo rejoin them and shock Matthew by claiming they aren't going to fight him anymore - and that they are all going to leave for Seattle together in the B.E. jet!
When Nora arrives at the station, Bo briefly talks about Jared then Nora informs him that Matthew's looking for another doctor to perform the surgery - online through a search engine! "We have to stop him," Nora states then brainstorms with Bo on ways to do so. Knowing they can't stop Matthew, Bo suggests that they talk Greg into operating on their son then says, "He's the devil we know. What else can we do?"
Across the hallway, as Destiny explains to Rachel that Matthew is heading to meet a new doctor right now, Nora and Bo arrive and overhear. Though Nora and Bo admit to Destiny that they still don't want Matthew to have the surgery, they claim if he's going to go through with it they want Greg to perform it. Rachel explains that she already tried to get through to Greg, but he doesn’t want to operate ever again. Suddenly, Matthew appears and informs his family, and Destiny, that his new doctor knows Greg - and that the new doctor is going to operate on him in Seattle - as soon as tomorrow!
Bo joins Nora at Rodi's, where Nora informs Bo that she talked to the judge, who is upholding the decision - and is allowing Matthew to have the surgery. Suddenly, Matthew approaches and announces that Greg refuses to operate on him then says, "Happy now?" Bo and Nora appear sympathetic, and try to talk some sense into Matthew, but they are interrupted by a call from Natalie. Bo rushes out, promising Matthew that they'll make this situation work. With Bo gone, Nora asks Matthew to allow her to be his mother again then tries to make him 'okay' with his situation - but Matthew announces that he's going to find another doctor to perform the surgery!
Clint calls John, to check on the case surrounding Jared's attack, then listens as Nora talks about Matthew's doctor - and how she plans to use the fact that Greg hurt his own brother to stop him from operating on Matthew. When Matthew enters the room, he lashes out at Nora, and even though Clint and Nora beg him to take some more time to think about the surgery, Matthew heads out to see Greg.
David appears in Bo's office with some of his reality television footage. Bo puts the DVD in then watches a scene where Matthew is telling Destiny that he saw his parents kiss the night before Nora married Clint! Though Bo wonders if David is going to blackmail him, David insists he didn't make any copies - and only wanted to make sure the DVD didn't fall into the wrong hands. "Uncle Clint will never find out what's on that disk," David says - just as Clint and Nora appear with Clint demanding, "Vickers, what the hell are you talking about?" David covers by reminding Clint that he signed a release form, for his reality show, and that his producer wanted to use the footage of Clint to raised money - until David stopped him, not wanting to exploit his family! Nora and Clint don't buy it then talk turns to Matthew, and Nora tells Bo that she thinks Matthew may change his mind about the surgery. "David, isn't there a housewife who's desperate for you somewhere?" Nora asks then kicks him out!
