Once seated, at Matthew's insistence, Bo and Nora are happy to hear that Matthew is dropping the lawsuit against them. However, when they refuse to sign the consent form, Matthew blackmails them with, "If you guys don't sign this, and let me have the operation, I'll tell Uncle Clint about you guys making out at the lodge, the night before his wedding to you." Though Bo minimizes their kiss, Matthew doesn't think Clint would think the same - and explains he has to think about himself right now… "Blackmail is such an ugly word," Matthew says. "This is just business." Bo refuses to do business with a blackmailer, leaving Matthew rushing off to find Clint - and Bo hoping that they raised Matthew better than this!
Someone Lurks In The Shadows...
Back outside, Bo drives up and joins Nora, saying he wouldn't miss the second happiest day of her life for anything. Over talk of Matthew, and the lawsuit, Nora wonders if they're making the right decision and fears they could lose Matthew. After Bo comforts Nora in his arms, she tells him about the banner typo, which Bo asks, "Maybe it's a wakeup call." Confused, Nora doesn't know what to think, and Bo asks her not to then kisses her - and neither realize that Matthew and Destiny have spotted them from the window! Once they break the kiss, Nora feels guilty, but Bo thinks their feelings have been resurfacing for a while now. Nora doesn't want to hurt Clint, and neither does Bo, but he says if he hadn't kissed her, he'd regret it for the rest of his life.
Suddenly, Brody and Jessica appear and tell them about a possible intruder rooming the grounds. Bo thinks it was just the old neighbor, out waking his equally old dog, then everyone notices the lights are back on at the lodge and head in.
With everyone back inside, Clint informs Bo that Nora wanted to wait for him before doing the toast, and when Matthew and Destiny appear, everyone grabs a glass and Natalie finishes her toast from earlier - wishing both couples happiness always.
Underlying Messages...
Brody, Jessica, Natalie and Jared are at Asa's Lodge, decorating for Viki, Charlie, Nora and Clint's wedding party when they realize the banner they ordered says, "Viki and Clint and Nora and Bo!" Suddenly, the guests of honor arrive, who see the banner, and the kids promise to get to the bottom of the typo. While Charlie helps them get some refreshments, Nora and Viki try to reassure Clint that Nora wants him - not Bo, like the banner implied, then Viki is filled in on how Matthew is suing Nora and Bo.
Just then, Rachel, Shaun, Destiny and Matthew arrive, and Nora promises to have the lodge handicap accessible, but Matthew brings up how he'll soon be walking, taunts her with the lawsuit then listens as Destiny admits it was her idea. Nora blows it off, and Rachel suggests a toast, but Nora irks Clint by suggesting that they wait until Bo gets there - because he's his best man. Across the room, as Viki assures Charlie that he is who she's meant to be with, not Clint, a photo of Asa crashes to the floor!
Back inside the living room, Natalie and Jessica welcome Charlie to the family - and welcome Nora back. As everyone lifts their glasses to the couples' happiness, the lodge goes black, and everyone scrambles to get candles. Wondering where Jessica is, Natalie informs Brody that she went in search of some candles, and Brody heads to find her, briefly stopping to look at the photo of Jessica and Nash… While talking to Viki, Clint feels silly for thinking these signs are some kind of warning. Suddenly, Viki finds an envelope addressed to Clint and Viki on their wedding day!
Walking down the hallway, Jessica thinks she sees someone and calls out, "Hello?" When no one answers, she spots the photo of her and Nash, smiles then rushes off. Nora follows Matthew down the hall, who feels as though she's babying him, then shines the flashlight on a wedding photo of her and Bo. In another room, Matthew looks at a picture of Asa and asks if he's doing the right thing by suing his parents. When he asks for a sign, Destiny appears.
Outside, as Nora is leaving a message for Bo, she hangs up and says, "I wish you were here," and Bo appears!
The Key To Todd's Plan!
At the Buchanan Mansion, Nora explains that she can't marry Clint because of Matthew's lawsuit then says, "I can't get married with all of this going on." When Clint hears that they don't have a court date yet, he suggests getting married tomorrow! After Clint asks Bo to make sure Matthew is there, Bo agrees, and Clint manages to get Nora to as well. Bo appears in thought then takes a call from Rex, who asks him to meet him… Once Bo is gone, Clint asks Nora if she was using the lawsuit to postpone the wedding! Again, Nora reminds Clint, through tears, that she can't be focused on a wedding, when she's worrying about Matthew, leaving Clint to take the blame, for bringing Greg to town, then vowing to make sure Greg doesn’t do the surgery. Nora doesn't think that will work, but they both admit they want to be good for each other.
Later, Rachel arrives at the Buchanan Mansion to check in on Nora, trying to get her in the partying mood, but when Nora appears mentally exhausted, Rachel says, "You don't have to marry Clint." Nora wonders why she would say that.
