Cris goes to Evangeline's bedside, at her mother's house, telling her how much he needs her - because he messed up - and that she's the only one who can set him straight. As Cris talks about how he lost Sarah, Layla listens from the doorway - then snaps when Cris claims that part of him will always be there waiting for her to wake up. "Is that why you can't keep your zipper up? Because you're waiting on my comatose sister? Give me a break!" Layla walks into the room and claims that if Evangeline could talk, she'd tell him to get his cheating butt out of there - and back to Llanview! Cris turns the tables on Layla, reminds her of her troubles with men then says that maybe her problems aren't about the men she's dating - maybe they have to do with her! Cris tries to walk away, but Layla keeps ranting, leading Cris to remind Layla that Fish adored her and she threw him away the second he gave her any attention! Cris tells Layla that she's nothing like Evangeline, who is strong, calls Layla a 'witch' then apologizes to Evangeline, promising to be back again soon.
Alone with her sister, Layla wonders if what Cris said is true.
We're Back!
Inside Evangeline’s room, Cris goes to her bedside, takes her hand and says, “I’ve missed you so much.” Cris proceeds to tell Evangeline that he’s hoping seeing her will help him find himself again. Although Cris begs Evangeline to, “Please come back,” she lays there in silence as Cris asks in tears, “Can you give me a sign? Is it time to let you go?” Before Cris goes, he admits, “When you come back to us, I may not be the right guy for you… I met this girl… I think you might like her. That’s why I need to know if you want me to wait for you.” As Cris goes to take Evangeline’s hand again, it slips away from Cris’s reach! Leaning in close, Cris says, “I love you… I always will,” kisses her good-bye then leaves…
Cristian Saves Sarah - Hunter Dies!
Holding her hand, Todd tells Evangeline he wishes there would’ve been something he could’ve done to help her. Over talk of all the times she's been there for him, Todd says, “I’m going to need your strength now… My son is really dead.” Out loud, Todd repeats what he knows Evangeline would say then vows to find out who took his son away from him – and make them pay!
A Fight To Stay Alive!
Inside Cris's studio, Cris, Nora, Talia and Evangeline are passed out cold. As Lindsey approaches the door - and sees the duct tape sealing it off - she's hit over the head! Inside, a groggy Cris manages to grab his cell phone and dial 911 then passes out once again…
When Bo and his men reach Cris's, Bo goes to Lindsey and says, "She's alive!" As they break into the studio, they see that everyone is alive - barely - and they scramble to get everyone out! Once everyone is out of the studio, Bo works frantically to revive Evangeline. Finally, Bo manages to bring Evangeline to!
Suddenly, sirens erupt through the air and the EMT's tend to Evangeline and scream, "We're losing her!" Quickly, everyone is rushed to the hospital! After the victims leave for the hospital, Bob demands that the crime scene be taped off! "We're going to get this guy!"
Jessica Has Liver Cancer!
When Evangeline arrives back at Cris's, she's surprised to hear Cris hasn't called the police yet. However, Cris is so devastated that this is happening just as he's gotten his painting back in order. Suddenly, Nora and Talia arrive and find a letter from the hate group reading, "Degenerate art will be destroyed…" Although they say that Cris called them there, Cris says, "I never called you."
Back inside the studio, Evangeline is standing next to the fan and appears sleepy. As Talia tries to leave, they realize they are locked in! As Cris heads for the window, Evangeline, Nora, Talia and finally Cris all pass out!
Stop! Or We're Over...
At Capricorn, while Michael and Evangeline talk about Todd, Michael asks, "I wonder why he went to Chicago in the first place?"
