CRISTIAN VEGA'S HISTORY
In 1995, Cristian Vega blew Llanview away with his artistic talent, having created the famous angel in Angel's Square. Cris hasn't had the best of luck in the love department. During his teenage years, Cris lost his high school sweetheart, Jessica Buchanan, to Will Rappaport after finding out she was carrying Will's child.
After falling prey to a few needy girls in between, Cris finally thought he'd meet the love of his life, Natalie Buchanan. Cris and Natalie went on to be married, only to lose each other on their wedding day when Cris was presumed dead after falling into the trap of a mobster. By the time Cris returned to Llanview a year later, Natalie had already given her heart to someone else, and Cris had been brainwashed and coerced to kill a man, ultimately landing him in prison.
With the help of his lawyer, Evangeline Williamson, Cris was proven innocent and released. While his prison sentence may have hardened his skin, Cristian's sensitivity and romantic side still shines strong!
Cris found that he had a talent in boxing and met up with the shady Vincent Jones. Vincent saw a quick buck to be made at the cost of Cris's reputation and agreed to become his manager. After fixing to have Cris lose a championship fight, Cris found himself out of work and scrutinized by many.
After a breakup with Evangeline Williamson, Cris gave into love again with Sarah Roberts. Though a trip to Mendorra tested their relationship to the fullest, they are now back in Llanview waiting for the next shoe to drop!
Although he's trying to get his life on track, with Evangeline's love to guide him, Cris is now the suspect in a rash of arsons involving the property of Vincent Jones.

Monday, December 01 2008: Thanksgiving In Llanview!
Still at Cris's loft, Vanessa suggests that she and Lola leave, for fear of hurting Sarah any further.
Once Cris and Vanessa arrive, Sarah can't help but spurt out little jabs at Vanessa - and blurts out Ray's theory, the one she promised Talia she wouldn't breathe a word of! Talia and Antonio begin to argue about Talia telling Sarah police information, Cris apologizes to Vanessa for Sarah being drunk, Layla yells at Cris for being rude to Sarah then Carlotta loses it and demands that they all stop fighting on Thanksgiving! After everyone apologizes to each other, Carlotta announces that the new diner will have its grand opening tomorrow then suggests they all head over there now to remember the place that her husband built so many years ago.
At the Buenos Dias Café, Viki, Gigi, Charlie, Noelle and Moe prepare a Thanksgiving diner, as Marcie and Michael arrive, followed by the Buchanans, the Vegas and their crew, as well as Dorian's family. After Shane introduces his dad, Rex, to Moe and Noelle, Llanview celebrates Thanksgiving as one.
Wednesday, November 26 2008: Viki Unleashes Her Fury!
When Sarah finally makes her presence known in Cris's loft, Cris quickly pulls away from Vanessa. Though Sarah makes cracks about Vanessa putting some clothes on, as Llanview is not south of the border, Cris and Vanessa inform her that she and Lola will be deported, to which Sarah finds no problem with! Sarah reminds Cris that Vanessa shot a man then asks if there's another reason why she wants to stay in Llanview.
After Vanessa goes upstairs, Cris smirks at Sarah and says, "I don't believe this… You're jealous!" Sarah rants about how Vanessa was climbing all over him, and how someone should give her a 'pole', but Cris insists that she needs his help - like Sarah once did. Point taken, to which Sarah reminds Cris of what became of him helping her - sex and a relationship! Sarah snaps, "I miss my boyfriend, and I have things going on too!" Though Cris tries to comfort Sarah, as she cries about Tina leaving, Sarah storms off!
