I totally get it! First loves are really hard to get over especially when neither one of them (Rex nor Gigi) had a falling out. They never got a chance to hate each other at all. The kindles were still burning (shower scene). But I really wish he would have waited until the divorce was finalized. Yuck!

I think that the difference between Adrianna and Gigi is :
Adriana: In the past how many times has she doubted him remember the stupid stalker guy and then the baseball/racist that she left him for. She never trusts him. This time not only did she lie about his son, she lied to him. Rex is always honest with her, even with the sam being tods son storyline, and buying her engagement ring (that was Marcys). How many times is he supposed to look past it!
Gigi: Gigi's only real lie is not telling him the truth about Shane the moment she saw him again. As a mom I don't blame her. She only knew the old Rex that left her high dry and pregnant! On top of that He told her how happy he was and in love With Adrianna, and later on when she did want to tell him Adrianna basically told her that they might take him, since Adrianna has $$$$ why should she doubt it. If I was threatened with that , I would take it to my grave!! Also, she did try to tell him @ the wedding and Brody shewed up. Thanks to Adrianna.
That's my opinion, take it or leave it!!

A FEW lies? And more than the lies, you have to look at the intent BEHIND the lies and manipulation. Adrianna has NEVER trusted Rex the way she should have IF she truly loved him. Never. And she proved it yet again by actively keeping the truth about Shane from him - and freaking out from the very first time she heard the name Gigi - long before she came to town.

Yeah, Gigi was wrong, but she didn't set out from the beginning to purposely keep Shane from Rex - that would be Adrianna. Should she have told him sooner? ABSOLUTELY!! She even TRIED to a few times (not hard enough, in MY opinion, but hey...) Point is? It wasn't malicious. She WAS alone and he DID leave her without any word on where he was going at all. She screwed up - big time - but her motivation wasn't selfish or malicious. The same cannot be said for Adrianna.
