I totally agree... I mean I know its been done before. Laura forgave Luke and they went on to live a very happy life together. But that primary difference there is a.) Luke didnt lead Laura's gang rape spend months torturing and threating her away from testifying. b.) Luke didnt then proceed to treat Laura like garbage for years, verbally abusing her on countless occasions. c.) Luke didnt then hold her captive by not revealing that she has an orphaned son going through the biggest emotional crisis of his life. d.) Luke didnt try to kill Laura's only son on several different occasions. e.) Luke didnt plan on kidnapping his grandchild, leaving his daughter to beleive it died so that he could raise it with the woman he raped. So ya, I would pretty much say that they have far, too far. But I have to admit that I am curious to see how far the writers are planning on taking this. Will Todd and MArty have sex? Will they get married and then be discovered? Well they get married/have sex and then be discovered? Becasue that would be WAY , way, WAY too far. in fact I think if they ever consumate their relaitonship at all, he is re-raping her and Nora should be able to lock him up and throw away the key. (not that she'll be able to, she's a lousy DA) But that would definetly be TOO FAR!

This s/l is quite disturbing and I'm shocked the writers would go there with Todd and Marty...but, I also think it shows the diabolical doings of Todd Manning; he is manipulating Marty--he has told lies to her about the past and he has hidden truths from her...she has no idea who she's involved with!!! Everytime I think Todd Manning has stooped to a new low, he comes back and tops the last evil deed!!! Manipulating a brain-injured woman he sexually assaulted years ago just is a new LOW!!!! What is it Todd Manning would not do?!

Even if Marty were to get over the fact that she was raped by Todd there are to many other things like the fact that he is keeping her from knowing that she has a son, and the major fact that the baby Todd is so determined to get is also Martie's grand baby and not just his , thats why he told her yesterday that he considered the baby to be theirs. Talk about sick!

Yes get go on with story. I am getting a little sick of Todd and Marty. If your writer's can't come up with a new
story line i just must start looking at something else.
And Tess, come on bring Vickie back and she will get to

Its absolutley horrific... I supported Todd through a lot of his misgivings but what he is about to do to Marty and Starr is easily the worst thing he has ever done. I think it moves him into the Villian category next to Carlo Hesser, Victor Lord, Mitch Lawrence and Spencer Truman. He has become an evil, evil man, and I am totally and completley mystified by people discussing what a hott couple they are, or how much they like them as a couple. He is her rapist. He is knowingly leaving her son an orphan during the most difficult time of his life. He is a bad, bad man!
