One Life To Live - MESSAGE BOARDS

Ok, I get that this year is one lift to live's 40th anniversary. And on the date of the actual anniversary I thought it was cute that they were reprising storylines from the past for their anniversary. I forgave the show even though Vicki going to Heaven, Sarah going over the waterfalls, all of Mendorra and Bo/Rex time traveling was so over the top, tacky and cliche' but the anniversary was two months ago and now they are still doing the same thing. I think its just plain laziness personally. I mean currently we have Carlo kidnapping and torturing Christian in South America to make him pay, SEEN IT! Tess has Natalie locked in Llanair's basement torturing her by seducing her boyfriend. Granted it was Jean, but its been done. Next Todd is supposed to convince Starr that her baby died and then he's going to steal it and raise it on his own. Hello Todd, you tried that once before do you really think it will work twice? Granted the situation with Jack wasnt exactly the same, as he gave Jack up for adoption then told Blair he had died. None the less, its been done! Multiple personality thing, has been done to death. And I cant recall who but I am pretty sure this is not the first time an amnesiac is being held captive by an enemy faking as a friend.

I had such high hopes for one life this summer. I thought they were going to do something really revolutionary and exciting after the fall out from the BE takeover. I thought that was so exciting and well written and unexpected. Now its just one lame soap opera cliche after another. Its like they are flipping through archived tape and creating storylines that way and I think it sucks! Boo! Boo! I say...

Agree, new storylines are needed. Same storys, different characters! Although it would be nice to watch older episodes. perhaps from the beginning on Soapnet.

That would be fun, but accoring to my calcuations there have been about 10,430 episodes. It would take an awful lot of tv viewing to catch up, if you watched 24 hours a day every day it would still take you over a year.
