Amy, if you could just answer this question if you know, or anyone else that knows. Every other day the opening thing that shows all of the characters changes, sometime's it shows Starr, Cole, Langston, etc. Sometime's it shows other characters instead and I noticed that it goes back and forth everyday. It drives me crazy so if you know why they do this, please tell me!

It depends. Sometimes they just rotate them. Sometimes an actor's contract has a clause that they will be in a certain number of opening segments per week. AMC has been showing Julia and Richie, both dead, in opening segments lately. Goodness, if this was all I had to worry about in a day, I'd be grateful. You must be living a good life!

I have often wondered the same thing as well. they seem to always have the people who are no longer on the show or were killed off on the opening credits.

Amy's really pressed for time, being that she's not only taking care of OLTL's section, acting as assistant editor, but she also works on our sister site. That's why you see the stickied note, asking that all questions are directed to the site. She's plumb out of time!! Sorry! But the email staff does have the time!

That's a show question though. We'd only be speculating. You'd want to contact OLTL. Check the FAQ for address. Seems to me that they've got a small amount of time for an opening, so they can't get everyone in the slot. They'd need to flip it to a new one, daily, to get everyone in the opening shot.
