I noticed that these writers have been doing soooooooo many repeated storylines for example: "the secret room" that Tess is now building, Tess herself, the whole DID thing altogether, Todd holding somebody hostage and taking advantage of them (come on, who HASN'T Todd done this to! ), going back in time (i'm not sure, but I think that they have done a "back in time" storyline before!), the "trip to heaven" storyline that just happened, and "who's Shane's daddy" storyline (this type of storyline has been done with almost every character for example: Jess/Tess when she was pregnant with Bree, and Nora and Mathew!)

I could probably keep going, but I won't! All I am trying to say is, can't the writers think of anything else or do they have to keep on stealing past writers ideas! The only storyline that is being repeated that I like is DID/Tess! I also kind of like the Todd and Marty storyline, but that is only because Tess is involved now! There is one storyline that I would LOVE for the writers to repeat, bringing Margaret Cochran back from the dead! I am still waiting to see this crazy red-head on my TV screen again, and on OLTL!

The Heaven and Time Travel storylines were just to celebrate the anniversary. Unfortunately, I think people would have more **nasty** things to say about the show if Rex and Bo returned to 2008 without any explanations.

They did do a time travel storyline before with Clint in 1988. He went back to the Old West (Buchanan City) in 1888. The original is always better, and there are no exceptions in this case. Most of the storyline is posted on YouTube.

Though I totally agree with you - I have to think that being a writer is a tough job.

There have also been a number of new story lines and perhaps the repeated story line are because when the ran the first time they were a hit.

I can say that there are repeated story lines in my own life, so why not on a soap?

I also have a few repeated storyline in my life, but truley no secret rooms, DNA, switching, never seen anyone that went to heaven-although I would like my dad to appear as with Dorian and Mel. OLTL needs NEW stories and not remakes of the past ones. Jess is Tess to concerned about revenge than her children and her own life, pregnant Starr is to busy moping around-as if she is the only teen that ever got pregnant, Blair to busy with John than to care for her own family and her daughters emotional issues, Todd to busy taking care of the woman he raped than to mend his family problems. Nat and Jared-Boring, Nash kept the storylines going for a while then he left. Please some new stuff!
