Did anyone think that ASA deserved a BETTER FUNERAL?

Did anyone think that ASA deserved a BETTER FUNERAL?

I can understand this was the 10,000th show, but it was so rushed. It looked like he died at breakfast and he was buried at lunch. EVERYONES PLANE CAME IN SO FAST...WHO CALLED ALEX..(it was great seeing TONJA AGAIN!) , NO MEMORIAL TO HIM OR NOTHING, EULOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE, then just a couple of glimpses of the picture frame.

Oh well lets see what today has to bring.

One last thought from my BIG MOUTH....

I can understand they wanted to kill ASA...But I personally thint the 10,000TH show should have had a celebration of some sought.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I have seen it all done in one episode before. Usually it takes a couple of days. What's up with that ???

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I have seen it all done in one episode before. Usually it takes a couple of days. What's up with that ???

NO OFFENSE and I MEAN NO OFFENSE...

BUT it was like ASA became an ORTHODOX JEW in his final days.
WAY TO FAST....Its taking months for SPENSERS KILLER TO BE REVEALED. But ASA's story was finished in a heartbeat...

I completley agree!! I have been watching this show since I was 10 yes 10 and I must say I loved watching all the old good guys return but come on Phil was there for way to long to have a send out in such poor taste!! That man deserved so much more than what was given to him!! I will say I did tink the episode was good though I found myself crying almost threw the entire show.

I totally agree. I am another long timer and though I loved seeing the "oldies" return, it was all so rushed. Everyone was too composed. ASA IS BIG-EVERYONE WAS AFFRAID OF HIM!!!! He is a legend and I am going to miss him...Love to ASA. Love to hate him...I love Cordero!!!! Alex was great!!!!!! ha ha

Yes, I agree. It was so great seeing everyone again but the funeral was rushed. Eulogy would of been nice.

I in a way think the producers were so angry with him, for not going on recurring staus they got rid of him as fast they could. Sickening.

I agree that it went fast, but how long do you really want a funeral story line to drag on.

There are so many people who think the Spencer murder case and the Todd Jr story are dragging on - and in real life, these things take time. Also, in real life - a funeral goes pretty quickly.

I think they did a very respectful send off and a good tribute to Asa.

I didnt say the funeral had to last 20 years..but alittle eulogy ,from CLINT OR BO or kevin...someone would have been nice.
And i can understand how murder cases take time in real life ...but watching a fantasy show...its shouldnt take that long on a show...I mean after awile you want a new story to start.

Asa's funeral went by to fast.he deserved better than that he's been on the show for so long,he is already a legend. and this is how the writers at OLTL remember his character by.
usually it takes a couple of episodes.
I don't understand why Asa's funeral storyline was played out to fast.
