I'm with you but you best not let the Jess/Nash fans hear ya. They believe that Jessica was the victim and was co hearse by Antonio. Lets us not forget that once Nash found out that he was the baby father how he went out of his way to make sure his presence was known and then after the baby was born, you couldn't get rid of him. It's like he just disregarded the fact that although Jessica was carrying his baby that she was also married to another man. And now for her to think that they could be friends. How Dare She. Jessica cared about no one but Jessica.

Tattoobabe....I don't see it that way at all. Jess is a good hearted woman, Tess or no Tess, and she has felt incredibly guilty ever since she started to have feelings for Nash. She tried to fight it for months, all the while trying to make her marraige to Antonio work, but she could not overcome her love for Nash! She is trying, tho in vain, to ease Antonio's pain, but it's just too soon. Now don't get me wrong, I am a Nashica fan, but the way they went about it was totally wrong IMO. First off, Jess should not have married Antonio if she had ANY doubts. Since she DID marry him & when she FINALLY admitted to Nash & herself that she wanted him & not Antonio, they should have TOLD Antonio BEFORE they made love not wait for weeks afterwards...that made Jess a cheater! Believe me I'm far from Antonio's biggest fan, but he did NOT deserve the hurt that he's feeling now. So I DO see BOTH sides & both have good points. JMO Jay

I think the part of her that was old Jess wanted to marry Antonio. The part of her that was Nu-Jess didn't know WHAT she wanted. She wasn't "in love" with Nash YET...but she knew there was something there. She wanted to pretend that everything was back to "normal" after the integration, so she went on with her old life the way she had it planned out before. Nash was right about one thing: She never should have been in a rush to get married....to ANYONE. She didn't know who SHE was yet, so how do you join your life to anyone else's if you don't really know WHO you are, or understand how you feel about fruit, let alone another human being? Antonio didn't coerce her into marriage at all. He asked her, she accepted. She wanted to marry him because she loved him and because she thought it was what she was "supposed" to do - as Jessica. I wish they would have had Viki be more vocal about why Jess shouldn't get married so soon. She was in a unique position to understand why Jess wasn't ready. |

Let's see...If Jessica had kept away from Antonio after he gave her a piece of his liver, Antonio fans would probably be up in arms about how uncaring and selfish she is that she couldn't even take the time to say "Thanks" to him. She went to visit him and opened up about how she feels, and she is still selfish and uncaring. Please! She just can't win with some people. |

(In the case of some rabids, maybe, but not everyone.) Jess DID thank him before the surgery. Sincerely thanked him. That was enough. Going to visit him, in spite of his wishes NOT to see her or Nash afterwards, she was just rubbing salt into a very raw wound. And her assertion that she wants them to still be friends? Ridiculous! Thank Cod Dena Higley is gone and maybe the new HW can repair Jess' character. |
