Ok OLTL writers. Read the history. First Blair & Todd had Starr, then Jack, next Todd, Tea & Ross were on the island. Todd built a raft and swam away. Tea had his daughter, who would be younger than Jack, not almost Starr`s age. This is why soaps lose viewers. We know the history. Today`s writers do not follow history. Kind of dumb huh!

I would never stop watching, but I agree that this is a big stretch for the time shift on the kids. I mean, we all accepted Cole being a year older than Starr. Star had been born for a while before Marty and Patrick went off the show to have Cole. But the way they repeated so much that Ross tried to kidnap Todd and Blair's kidS, to have a daughter that was Matt's age is asking a bit.

Question: How old is Jack?

I'm not sure if they mentioned Dani's age just yet.

But Jack should be about 12 right!

TPTB can still save face somewhat. I know for a fact that boarding schools serve multiple ages and grade levels.
Many International Schools house students aged 11 to 18.

Maybe Dani just looks older for her age.

My older sister got me into a club at 12 to avoid babysitting me. Lots of tissue. LOL!

I think the reason why the ages are wrong from where they should be is because they don't age starr. They can't age Jack to be older than Dani because then he would end up being to close to his sisters age. Also I believe they mentioned that dani is 15. If they would of age starr like they do with every actor she should be older than Cole and then they could have aged Jack so that when they introduced dani she was younger than Jack. But that is just how these soaps work. And they think that it has been a long time so it seems like they are the right age or they think that the fans wont notice, but they do.

while i'm enjoying dani (especially a pairing between her and matthew... bc i'm NOT a destiney fan) the fact of the matter is that the writers SERIOUSLY DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE! i can get on board with some of the SORASing of characters (like the stuff with cole being older than starr), but the writers basically neglected the entire storyline history of jack's birth!! that is what i find most infuriating about this storyline! jack's birth was a HUGE storyline for todd & blair... and if jack wasn't born, todd & tea would never have had sex & made dani on that island! that is what is most infuriating about this storyline. writers can rewrite little tidbits of history in soaps, but to ignore such a HUGE storyline in order to push tea/todd together is just absurd on their part & is a disservice to the show!

writers, save yourself somehow!

I'd like to make a point out there that this similar situation happened at GL. When James Alexander Spaulding came back he was SORAS'ed from being a 9 Year Old to being a 18 Year Old he Skipped over his Brother Alan Zachary "Zach" Cooper Spaulding. So Daniella "Dani" Manning Skipped over her Brother John "Jack" Cramer Manning in a very similar fashion.

So OLTL basically pulled a GL and Skipped a Sibling over another Sibling.

I just said I thought he was born in 2004 because this site said so... if you go to list of shows, then cast list, then click Jack's character description, the past Jack though, not this one. The description said Jack was born in 2004. I do know though that Jack should be younger than 12 cause if he were 12 he would have been born in like 1997 and I started watching One Life To Live in 1999 and in 1999 the only child Todd and Blair had was Starr.
