One Life To Live - MESSAGE BOARDS

Heres my list of gripes...

One Life always build all of their stories and then has all the climaxes at once, I hate that! spread it out a little, nothing happens for months and months at a time.

Rex- he used to be a fairly decent P.I. then Dorian pulled one over on him, then Adrianna, then Gigi lied to him about Shane for quite a while, Roxy outsmarted him he wasnt able to find out who his father is, then the stupid stripper, then he researched Tea and somehow missed that she had a kid and now he is being duped by his aunt! Worst P.I. ever... He's getting to be as bad of an investigator as Lucky on GH. And he doesnt appear to be a fantastic club owner either. Rex used to be awesome and the women pulling stuff over on him arent exactly rocket scientists. WTH?

Natalie- why do they always write her as a love struck idiot! good actress, terrible weak and simplae character

What happened to the funny??? Jack provides occasional comic relief but I miss Rocy/Nigel, Addie, I would love to see more of David trying to become a Buchanan cause he's funny!

Teen scene- the kids on this show are the most mature people in Llanview they should have a little fun every once in a while

Re-doing of storylines- I feel like its been kind of a one trick show lately they are re-doing all the old couples I think, I see John/Nat in the future, Bo and Nora, I'm sure Charlie will be leaving town soon after Jared bites it. Anytime they get stuck they whip out an alter, with the exception of the gay storyline I feel like I have scene it all before. And bringing Mitch back for the 300th time, give me a break! Todd and Blair trying again, what does he have to do to her for it to be enough??? And the Tea triangle, been there done that. Tea pushing Blair out the window, familiar.

I've been watching OLTL since its inception, and I've got to say the "gay marriage" story line is the worst one they've ever come up with. I have to admit I am totally against gay marriage and it has nothing to do with bigotry! I don't know what the writers are trying to prove with this story line. And Dorian claiming she will change the law in PA is a bunch of bunk. The voters in 31 states have already voted down this issue. OLTL needs new writers; ones who can think up a credible story line.

I'm cool with the gay marriage thing. I think we have seperation of church and state and if a church doesnt want to marry a same sex couple that is there perogative to do so, its not the governments place. But thats neither here nor there, I do wish one life hadnt gone about it in such a soap box-y fashion that was like beating you ever the head with it.

My real problem with the show is Rex, he really has become a baffoon!

I think all the redheads in town should be run out cause they are sucky, obnoxious, holier than though and just plain idiotic.

I definetly prefer something a little funnier.

I hate Chris and Layla together
Bo and Nora... snooze alert!
Todd and Blair- Plx gosh not again!

But mostly they drag their storylines on forever and I am still pissed about the traveling back in time bit or how anytime they get bored they bust out an alter personality. its annoying.

oltl needs to bring back old chacthers-stephanie/angela h/talia, rightnow s/l are boring for exable todd/blair/tea sl,tnt need to moveon mitch's s/l , others s/l john/jessica pairing-natalie/greg pairing-schyler/rachel pairing-tom/langston/markoo triangle,, as for rescoe born i hope he stays longterm deal,so that mitch to reveal todd is not todd he's walker l,, i will never belive this so called todd but fake fake todd, hoply abc/tptb can lure roger howarth back,if they so bring him back someday first they put him a different role like todd's twin jimmy lord and add jessica tuck a deadringer newly role as jimmy;s love interest,,that's what oltl need to understand,,

I use to watch AMC & GH,but am down to just OLTL.I'm seriously wondering why I do some times.My biggesest problems with the show are:
1)the Dorian being gay thing- give me a break!
2)the Marko's vote being the deciding one- how would they find out?Let it go!
killing off Jared- how many times can Natalie handle someone dying on her,really??? Eventually she's going to start thinking she's a walking death threat,a danger to all who get near her.I liked her when she was with John,maybe they'll get back together
4) The whole Gigi/Rex/Stacey s/l. -for a couple who are suppossedly one of the great lovestories,they were torn apart too easily. Stacey and Kim just make my skin crawl. I ff past all their scenes.
I do like Viki/Charlie,Bo/Nora ( Clint is too boring),Todd/Blair ( Tea just annoys me) Jessica/Brody,etc....
I'm just hoping it gets better. I do like watching people with more problems in life than me,lol!
