One Life To Live - MESSAGE BOARDS

So for two years John pined over Marty. They had sex once, he thought she died. He mourned her for what felt like forever. Spent months obsessed with finding her once he thought she was alive. Once he was able to resue her he spent another six months chasing after her, cleaning up her messes and trying to help her. Then he dumps Blair (who I loved with John) for Marty. Spent two more months waiting to sleep with her, in the most prolonged storyline ever. And now that they're an item its like the show has totally forgotten they exist. Which is super annoying! I actually forgot they were a couple at all until yesterday. They havent been together, there has been no romance, they are literally the forgotten couple! Which got me thinking...

This is totally me guessing (spoiler included) but John and Natalie have been on screen together a lot lately for the first time in years. Jared is leaving the show one way or another be it he just up and disappears, gets murdered or goes to jail, we know he's leaving. And Thorsten Kaye is out at AMC because they are moving to L.A. and he is married to Marty in real life so he will be staying in New York. So my theory is they are bringing Patrick back. One Life to Live loves a rerun so I think they will go back to Nat and John (gag me they were so boring!) and Patrick and Marty (love them)... I dont know when it will happen, but thats what I am guessing will happen! Just a thought

I am holding on to every ounce of hope I can that this is what happens. I adored Patrick/Marty (Party? ) , but from reading posts on TKs site it looks like most of the fans of his there think he's more likely to take an extended leave from soaps and put his energy into his writing.

I'll let go of my John and Marty pairing ONLY if Patrick returns.

I like the idea of John being Cole's mentor and eventually his stepdad. I also like the idea of John and Cole teaming up (IN THE FUTURE) as two of Llandview's finest.

john & natalie belong 2geather patrick or no patrick johns going 2 thier 4 natalie dring this time & realize he still loves her & she loves him & natalie wont stop til she has him.

I would like to see Natalie with John McBain again.

Ugh. Jarly is boring. I never could see the dynamic, though I rooted for anything other than Jolie.


At one time I could see something of interest with them, first round. But the most interesting thing of Natalie to date was the Nat/Cris/Evangeline/John.


It was the best writing for all four, it gave them shine. Personally since REG left, the rest have sucked majorly. John is a total bore.


I still can't believe that OLTL hasn't figured out what's wrong and hasn't tried to fix it. John needs a new woman...something new, something that can make him interesting again.


Natalie isn't it. They aren't soulmates. The writing isn't convincing me of that. Natalie has outgrown the need to be rescued. So it's going to take some creative juices to flow heavily and make Jolie interesting. Nat gets reduced to pathetic, not pretty.

I loved Nat and John together, I hate her and Jared, JOhn will see her in his way and they will get back together that is what it is looking like, and I heard on another site that thorneheat is coming back to Marty, so that will be no problem, although I don't think Marty would care either way, she will want John to be happy and if he wants nat then she will step out of the way, she isn't Blair... Blair is the only one that is selfish on here, i am so tired of her.... they need to find her some old man, she is looking old. To old for Tod......
