As a gay male I'm kind of tired of the saturation of gay content. Its getting out of hand. They have lost touch with reality. Yes, PA is a "blue" state, but I have an issue believing that two candidates are going to court the gay and lesbian vote. I also have a problem believing that everyone in Landview is "GAY OK!". Lets be honest, the glbt story lines are getting out of hand and lost all reality. The last thing we need as a glbt community is to see a day time fantasy world where everyone that isn't gay wants to be.

I think you and the show are slightly over reacting.

I agree with the Ranger. Galefan, I think you should step back and recognize that this is a "soap."

Please keep in mind that everyone has a right to their opinions and a right to post them.

Well, one candidate is courting the gay issue only to make herself look as someone who is compassionate and open-minded. I don't think we've seen enough of this storyline to conclude that "everyone" is ok with the gay issue. As the story advances, I think we'll see the ugly (hateful)side of it. After all, when these types of storylines are written into soaps, it's usually with a message about society.

Although I am not gay, I believe everyone has the right to love and be loved. Even persons of the same sex. It seems to be the phrase "gay marriage" thats causing the issue. Since the word "marriage" has been used traditionally as between a man and woman. Maybe another phrase could be used as a bond between same sex couples. In reality the word "gay" means happy or full of joy-not homosexual but people adjusted to the new meaning. I don't agree with Dorian posing as 'gay" to win as mayor. That's just wrong!

Just like any storyline there are those who agree and disagree with it...just sit back and enjoy it will end eventually.

I think it is great to have this story line, b/c in real life you have gay people everywhere just like straight people. I think Dorian is dispicible, but she will get whats coming to her... I think Amelia and Nick have something up their sleeves.
