Personally I don't think the writers are doing John any favors by making him always right. I think they should have made him at least take responsibility for what happened to Star and Hope, it really was his fault not Todd's or Dorians. He used a kid to get a drug ring not cool. I just think they have made John really boring.....

I'm not going to defend John's choice to use Cole to expose the drug ring. However, I'm not going to blame him either.

Marty and Starr begged John to get Cole out of a 2 year prison sentence. Case and point: Not only does Cole avoid prison, he is now a hero in the process and he can live his life with Starr, Marty and her grandchild without a prison sentence to boot.

No one suspected the mayor. No one intentionally place Hope and Starr in jeopardy.

But interestingly, every time someone dies (Nash and Jessica's first baby)or someone blabs (spilled the beans about Nat and Jared right before they confessed - told the Mayor about John's undercover investigation) Dorian is somehow involved.

Right, I blame Dorian for this one.

John is the town's top cop and I hope he is promoted someday.

I like John and I like he's the hero!!!

And I really love his hair

This is my biggest conflict..all the characters Im sure how I feel about except John. Sometimes hes over the top with his moody darkness. And then sometimes I love him. He has the worlds biggest heart, he has strong values and is a firm believer and enforcer of the law. He wants to protect everyone and can't always do it and then gets all depressed and boring. this is tough for me, but as for the hair, I think he should grow it out a little longer, like when he first came on the show or like when he was on port charles. Speaking of...maybe they should send John and Bo to Port Charles since the cops there can never seem to arrest or send to prison anyone..ever

How is it a bad thing that he's right?
IT'S HIS JOB and he does it very well,
so if you dont like the fact that he does his job the way it should be done, then too bad!

john is a good guy...john did nothing wrong to nobody...he save lives...so u guys have to deal with liking john...he helps people...i like him...if u guys dont u guys are in the butts...

Sick of John? NEVER!! I just love him and the look on his face when Bo made him go up to accept his medal was priceless. He's just far to humble to accept koodos for doing his job. Love him!
