Wow! What did everyone think of the kiss between Kyle and his new friend?! Are the gay romantic scenes going to far? My sister seems to think so!

My nephew walked into the room in time to see that scene. His little jaw dropped to the ground as he broke out laughing. Then asked if it was ok to kiss his best friend like that. He is in third grade and understands "mommy and daddy" peck on the cheek kissing, but not same sex attraction. I will no longer watch while babysitting!

It was perfectly fine and done in a very tasteful manor - there was nothing wrong.

What do people think that gays kiss any differently then straights do, the answer is nope. There is just as much passion and love in a gay relations ship.

I was very glad to see this scene after all it is 2009, not 1900. Congrats to the entire staff and the actors at OLTL.

I did not appreciate the "kiss" and would have liked to have some warning before being subjected to that type of behavior. I decided that since I "really" didnt like this soap all that much, this is a perfect time for me to stop watching and do something constructive with my time. I turned it off immediately! I will no longer be watching this soap.

I loved it, and poor Nick wanted more....I was like wow are they going to actually undress and get on the bed, wishful thinking.

It's so funny that some people need "warning" and did not "appreciate" the kiss! C'mon now! When Stacy was drugging a former drug addict to get her knocked up there was no righteous indignation but two consenting adults behind closed doors making out got your knickers in a twist? Please!

I HATE loud kissing, and to me the kiss seemed forced I want them to drop the new guy and just let Kyle and Fish be together....you all thought I was gonna be a basher lol. Loud kissing really grosses me out but unfotunately thats how soaps do it, I mean really when you kiss your significant other paasionately is it really that wet and loud? Maybe its just the placement of the microphones. Maybe its just me

I agree the kiss was pretty hot. It didn't seemed forced or uncomfortable for either of them. Don't know if one or both of the actors are straight, but I don't really care. They're doing a great job with they're charatcters. Though you are right, Melsa, when you say it should be Kyle and Fish, not the new fella. Also, it is a real shame that there are still people out there who think and act like Oliver's father, and unfortunately, some of them watch the soaps. I know it's 2009, but the idea still makes some people so.... offended. I can understand not wanting the kids to see them kiss, only because I don't believe young kids should be exposed to straight kissing, or any other sexualish material either. And as far as going too far, that's merely a matter of opinion.

StacyHater, I'm with you....I did not think the kiss was forced or uncomfortable! I think I may be in the minority here but I love loud kissing, it makes the kiss that more sexier!

*you are right that it doesn't matter if the actors are gay or straight, they are doing a job and the job for these two actors was selling a kiss to us the audience....which to me they sold it!!!

KC11, Scott Evans(Fish)yes is gay in real life and very open about it. The woman who plays his mother on OLTL is actually his mother in real life, and she is nothing like Barbara Fish. Scott Evans brother Chris Evans is also an actor.
