does anyone have any theories or opinions on the outcome of matthew's trial?! i've been thinking that matthew is going to win, but he won't have the surgery in the near future. i feel like shaun's coma might be a hint... greg's been talking a lot about how successful he is and how he never loses a patient. and then shaun ends up in a possible permanent coma! i think that matthew will either opt to not do the surgery and admit his parents were right that it is too risky, or greg will refuse to do the surgery becacuse he is so shaken about what happened with shaun! i'm leaning towards the later, bc it would be an obvious plot point to push rachel and greg together as rachel tries to console greg & give him back his confidence...

matthews verdict is in. and the judge rules in Matthew favor. she gives him the right to make his own decision about his surgery.

haha yeah. i wrote this late last night & saw all the spoilers out today!! and that greg vows never to operate again....
