Have you ever watched a TV show in its last season where the main stars leave the show and the writers then focus on less important characters. Think about ER and the nurses there from the beginning or That 70's Show when they began focusing on other people like Leo, who was not the main star.

I got that feeling with Moe, Noelle, and Shawn. As for Moe and Noelle, they didn't really have a major part, and like Carlotta, facilitated the other main stars for someone to talk to. Think about other non-main stars. Question: Should the writers begin to develop main stories for them or cast them out in order to bring back characters for good like Kevin and Kelly or Marcie, etc.?

I'd love to see Shawn stay on the show, although I think the writing was on the wall when they did not put his face on the title when they placed in his brother and Rachel. I wonder if Destiny will stay around for a while.

We need Shawn for several reasons. We need Shawn to be Todd's body guard, around for Destiny to go if she has problems or needs advice and because their is always a woman out there for a nice teddy bear like man. Here's a thought? What about Layla? She is single now that she knows Fish is gay. We don't really need Noelle or Moe because their isn't really a good storyline for them, but they might be nice to have around once in awhile.

I just realized the other day that Moe and Noelle havent returned and they've been gone a while so I dont think they're really necessary as it took me like two months to realize they were gone. As for Shawn, eh... I like him but cant stand his entire family and the fact that they have now brought his parents in as well I find super annoying. Destiny is just a knock-off Marcie and I am very bothered that they are re-doing her and Al's love story. I think she is a lil too pathetic and yet opbnoxious. Brother Greg is gosh awful, there is nothing about him that I find even remotely interesting and I am over it. So while I dont mind Shawn, I think he can be very sweet I would gladly forego his presence if it meant getting rid of Destiny and Greg. Take the strippers as well while your at it.

In my opinion right now the show doesnt need Stacy, Kim, Greg, Destiny, Shawn, Noelle, Moe, their parents, new Carlotta or Asher... Thats just me. I think they are a waste of space and air time. I dont think they add any interesting elements to the show, their characters are poorly written and developed, they dont interject humor or drama. They are just annoying. annoying. annoying. annoying.

I like the Evans family. They are a wonderful addition to the cast. An AA family with interesting story lines. Kudos to OLTL!! Moe and Noelle were humorous. They gave the show some comedy. I'd like to see a return. As for Stacy, I can do w/o her deceitful schemes!!! She should have been gone!!!

Lady Red, You Hit it squarely on the head! We don't live in a world where we all look alike. So why should I invest my time in a televison show where all the people sound and look alike? No thank you! I think OLTL does a good job mixing it up just as AMC does. Kudos to them both!
