I consider myself and others like me a patient man but everytime I come to this site it is all about new characters like "Stacy" or Dr. Greg Whatever helping "Matthew" or something about a new character being made the front burner storyline. Haven't you guys learned that does not improve things ratings or story, at least not for long? Its the core characters , the Lords, Buchanins and people's interaction with them that is this show. If Andrea can not comeback right now then how about a recast, it is time. Throw the Tina-loving fans a bone here. At least give us an update once and a while. I have watched OLTL since 1984 when Tina and Mitch came to town to prove she was Victor Lord and Irene Manning's daughter. Why does Todd or Viki not even mention here? Dont you think it odd that your sister would be MIA and you are not even concerned? Not once was she even mentioned when all the Jess/Bess stuff was going on and her 6 month stay in Llannview helped bring all this about. Lynn Herrig would have been a good choice,ex-Lucy on GH, Deidre Hall is been let go from Days, she would be a strong match for Viki, both women great actresses and well thought of in the SOAP scene. Charlote Ross, ex-Eve on days, Patsy Pease, ex-Kim on days, both are red heads. Would not even have to change their hair color. Catherine Hickland use to be a redhead on Loving/City, give her a few red highlights and bring her back as Tina, she is still on payroll, and a great actress. With Lindsay in jail the actress would probably be excited about the new role. She would be a strong choice she makes you love Lindsay even when she is being awful to Nora or whoever. Later, if storyline dictates Lindsay could get out of jail , Andrea take the role of Tina back over, and you got a great show again. I mean no disrespect, but Andrea's own site has nothing posted on it in 2009, so it isn't like she is tied up on another show, or charity. I realise its family and new life in LA, but most creative people I know and admire have to stay busy , love to be working in their element, so Andrea has to be looking around for some new work or what have you. So, why not comeback to OLTL? Maybe "Tina" could be like David Vickers and come into town for three weeks or so, spice things up, and leave again, you got to admit the time from June of 2008 to November 2008 is still having a big affect on story still. I see no reason Tina, Cord, CJ, Sarah all of them could not make a comeback, they are core characters, and they tie the Lords and the Buchanins together. Give me some hope!

I totally agree with you, and unfortunately, neither I nor Soaps.com has anything to do with ABC/OLTL or their storylines. However, we can all open new threads here about the other characters - just to get them out there.

As for updates, I always keep everyone posted on what's going on with the actors - should they have something... Andrea is very involved in a few things, which can be found by doing a search in our News Room for her.

Sadly, as of yet, there is no news of her return, but I'll keep you posted. You can find the contact info for ABC in the FAQs page, which is where I think you should also send your post - as it appeared very thought out and from a loyal fan.

I love the characters ....Tina...David...and David Vickers the Dog. They bring humour to the show that we all need and want at times. Tired of the same ole sex and unfaithful people we are watching with the boring story lines they present. Bring back the families that we all love to watch and follow. Every time we like a couple together...for some strange reason they break them up to upset alot of us viewers. We want our fave characters to be happy sometimes.....and Bravo for the Starr and Cole marriage and reuniting them with their baby girl. Please give us more of this.

Right on Joshua. You make some dam good points. I mentioned in another post bringing Max and his other kids back would be great for Blair, you know, get her away from Todd and let him be with Tea. They brought Marty and Tina back at the same time, and Marty stayed on the show. Tina barely got to interact with anyone. She spent most of her time talking to herself or that dog. Sarah's been on the show a couple of times, as Flash, the brunette, who tried to date her cousin (She really is like her mother. Remember Tina slept with David Vickers, the man not the dog, when she thought he was her brother) and again with blonde hair. Cord's been back a couple of times, too. He came to take Flash to London when the Music Box Murderer almost killed her, and he came back for Asa's funeral. As far as CJ is concerned... well, where the hell is he? Tina mentioned him a couple of times during her last stint, but Sarah made no attempt to find him at all while she was on the show. I seem to remember when Paul Cramer came on the show, when he was played by Brock Cucchna before Heather Tom's brother played him, in one of his first scenes on the show, he mentioned looking for CJ Roberts, but nothing ever came of it. The writers need to lay off all the new characters and bring back people like Max and his kids Frank and Leslie, and Cord and CJ and Sarah.

Thanks Amy for your response/answer. I am a newbie to the site and message board and from reading the other posts I thought you worked at the show as a writer or had a hand in casting. I thought this was connected to the network/show because of the info you get etc. So I hoped by posting here that the Powers that be at the show would see these posts from time to time. You know seeing what clicks with the fans and all, and what does not.

Also I went back and read some older posts where you mention Andrea Evans is working on an Indie film, good luck to her with that , and I know the show is not her life, but one can hope it is in the works for her to comeback or go a head and rule it out so we can get a recast. Other sites still list her on the cast list and show her photos as well, so I was hoping there would be inside info on a return soon.

But thanks again, and sorry if I misuderstood and sounded like I was venting at you , thought I was venting to a writer on the show or something.

I thought the reasons AE left OLTL, is because Frons was tired of paying for all of the west-east coast airfares etc? I could be WRONG, so, take this with GOS. I don't think AE wanted to move back to NY since she has a life in CA. Tina Lord belongs on OLTL, so does Kevin, Joey, Kelly and Zane. How about Dr. Danny Wolek? He is a Lord and Larry Wolek's son, and Viki's nephew via her dead sister Meridith. I use to like Max during his Tina, Cord and Gabby days, not so much afterwards. Cassie is a Cramer woman, but, we haven't seen her and River in the last 5 years.

I would like to see the old Todd character come back as Todd's long lost brother and also have Max and his kids come back. Blair can have a sexy love triangle between them and can leave Tea and Todd to their fun romance.

I'm all for bringing Tina back she was always one of my favorites. I would also love to see Max, Cord, Kevin, and Kelly back. I agree with josh bring back more core characters instead of inventing uninteresting new ones.
