Did anyone else think this was kind of lame??

Umm..my kids used to LOVE going to the mall. So much to see and watch in their strollers. Unless she meant that she didn't have a car seat and or stroller..that was sort of a lame message to say, "oh, you have a baby, you can't go"

My 14 year old son (who is soap saavy ), said, "why can't she go? Does Llanview ban babies in their mall?? Hahahaha...he got that it was lame too. Made me laugh.

Make no mistake, I agree with you..she will have to sacrifice many things being a teen mom (although a rich one with infinite people at her disposal) I just think going to the mall is not one of them!

ITA!! It being her first day as a full time mom though, she has more important things to deal with then running to the mall! I hope they do an episode where she goes baby shopping!! Is it too late for a shower? That'd be cute!

My husband laughed at that too. "So Llanview doesn't allow babies in their malls?" I think you are all right. This is just the lead up to the "sacrifices" storyline. Which some of that is true and should be shown but that is the case, teenage mom or midlife mom or whatever. We all sacrifice for our kids.

Also, I think Starr wanted to wait for Cole to come by. She wanted to be there when he showed up.

I think it showed the difference between Langston having no responsibilities to Starr now having to think of her baby first. Also did you catch when Langston used the word sex how Starr noticed they shouldn't be saying that word around the baby. Unfortunatly her being from a rich family is not going to show true to life for the average teen. Wait till Todd finds out she is keeping the baby he'll probably buy out the local baby store.

i posted this in another post but what the ???? i understand trying to portray a teen mom making sacrifices but that was just dumb. the mall really???

I just though that it was because she had just gotten her baby back after going through losing her, so she wanted to spend her time with her baby.

that makes more sense. but the way langston said it i thought she meant that they were done with mall outings completely not just that day
