I am so proud of Markko...he is a true friend to Cole...liked the way he presented his speech and himself...now his mother she is another story...very judgemental...but we will see

I really enjoyed his speech!

His mother needs to get a grip tho, look around, everyone is wearing short dresses and Lang's was beautiful, IMO

I'm a bit confused by the portrayal of Markko's parents in general. I was always under the impression that Markko was from a lower middle class(blue collar) family but they seemed to act rather haughty in there speech and dress. Was I just misunderstanding Markko's family background?

I think you are mistaking old-fashioned conservative-traditional values for haughtiness. There are still lots of people out there who cling very tightly to such morals and values.
