i LOVED langston's dress! but i think mama rivera's comments were to show just how conservative this woman is... i can't wait to see her and dorian interact and i hope it is on more than one occasion and not just at the graduation party. remember dorian going full "cramer woman" on the judge when he gave guardianship to ray?!?! mama rivera wouldn't know what hit her... |

I thought it was a little too short but maybe in Markko mom mind a woman shouldn't dress that way because it will reflect who they are. Now I am a churchgoer and we are to advise to avoid the appearance of something including our clothes. But I still think that she should handled a lot better because Langston got the impression that she hated her. |

Well, that used to be the way, but now I see teenage girls from all cultures, all nationalities, alot of them dress like streetwalkers - with their families right there! I thought it was inappropriate for Markko's mom to make comments about Langston's appearance...regardless of her personal opinions or beliefs. And Markko should have stood up to his mother for Langston's sake, not make excuses for her. |

And it wouldn't matter if he was standing up for his girlfriend but all that really matters is what he thinks. |

5 minutes before his graduation was definitely not the time or place for him to stand up to his mother! i think they are totally building up to him defending langston in front of his parents! |

Markko mother was very arrogrant and her statement to Langston was totally inappropriate. Langston looked very elegant. As far as being age appropriate, I feel a person should be able to wear whatever makes them happy. One should not dwell on personal comments made by anyone!!! |

Yes, I can understand that he would not want to get into it right at that moment; however, a simple, "please don't talk to Langston like that, mother," would have sufficed. He better nip mama's digs in the bud or there will be no end to the interfering!
