I am so glad that this is true. Starr and Cole diserve this break. I do not belive Starr is being Mean or anything when it comes to this. Starr kept up her end of the Bargin even thought it is now killing her to give Marcie the baby she Promised marcie the baby and she signed the Adoption papers. Starr never asked Marcie to give the baby back even though she didnt want to give Hope up so In all realiity I do not feel this situation is a some are putting it on the board that Starr is Maiking Marcie do this she never asked for her to do this. Starr may of said soemthing to langston but Langston is her best friend sometimes its easier to talk to your best friend about your issues than anyone else.

But I dont understand why Marcie is giving her back? anyone know?

I read that she receives amazing news that she has been longing for. Could it be that she is pregnant. Also she saw the turmoil Starr went through in giving back Hope and sees what an amazing mother Starr would be also.

I do understand your point about Marcy giving the baby back. But Marcy finally comes to the realization that Hope belongs with Starr. Marcy had to be overwhelmed with guilt in this case. However, you lost me with the words "true portrayal" and "normal teen things". That seems biased. Portrayals are in the eye of the beholder. Nannies are just live-in babysitters. I know many working parents that use babysitters, employ nannies or result to daycare. In Starr's case she will choose to educate herself and have family and nannies there to assist. No one knocks "daycare" this day and age and daycare employees come and go in the child's life. With daycare, many mothers are taking an unbelievable chance!
From personal experience. Having worked in a daycare for 7 years and my 2 children attended for a few, Day care was the worst mistake I made. My children were acting out so badly at home and in the classroom. @ 2 1/2(and 6 care givers later) my daughter threw a block @ her teachers head and was kicked out. It was the best thing that ever happened. I noticed almost immediatley their behavior improved it was like going from rain to sun. I quit my job there got one doing o/n weekends only to avoid needing others to watch my kids(until Elementary school started and it was the best thing I ever did! Daycare may work for some but I would never use it again! Some of the things I saw as a teacher were mind boggling!
Iam sorry you had such a bad daycare experience, but I know from experience that daycare is not always like that. I had one of the best experiences with my four year old, he loved his teacher and yes there was some acting out at the school but come on what do you expect with all those children in one place. Kids are not robots, they fight and throw tantrums, it is normal. I guess maybe I am biased because I have worked in daycare and I am a teacher now. In starr and Cole's case, it is TV and things are not always depicted as they truly are in real life. I, for one am not disappointed in the storyline. Starr will probably leave the baby with a nanny while she finishes school, big deal. Let the girl have her happy ending after all it is only TV.

Hey there...thanks for sharing!

I won't say I love this s/l but it is filled with plenty of drama. Like you pointed out it is a soap. However, many soaps have a bit of reality weaved in.

Again, I did say mothers are taking a chance. The probability of finding a good daycare is 50/50. Your experience sounds wonderful so you are in the top 50 percentile.

Good luck Cole, HOPE and Starr!

I think you misunderstood me about "daycare." I have nothing against daycare, my children went to daycare. I had wonderful childcare but used it because I had to work. What I meant was, Starr will never be protrayed as the typical struggling teen parent. We will hardly see the baby because she will always be w/ a nanny or sleeping etc. Starr will continue her carefree life supplemented by Dorian and her parents.

the problem i have is their making it look way to easy for Starr and Cole to raise her. When in reality it is not that easy.

maybe for normal teens it would be hard to raise a baby but with starr and cole's families and money those kids will have it easy.

Quote JASONandLIZforever: i hope it is true that marcie gives hope back to star..

because times have changed. young teens may have an extremely hard time raising children. but it does happen all the time.. young teens can make it happen with the love and support from their families now a days.. its not always a bad thing anymore for young girls to keep their children... yes it is a huge struggle but i think it is one worth going through.. and i think star and cole can do it.. they have alot of people wanting to help them. blair, john, marty, dorian, aunt vickie, jessica and yes even todd. lol and its not like they wouldnt have financial help from their families.. blair, todd, vickie, jessica and dorian are millionaires..

It's very true teens make it work a lot more now than the past years, i had my son when i was 17.. im 20 now and he'll be 3. Married and love my life, my husband joined the Navy and we are doing awesome!!! = ) on that note, i figured starr would get her back wether marcie gave her back or not. There was no notary or legal anything there when she signed the adoption paper so i figured either that would happen to where she changed her mind and threw out that the document wasnt legal or else marcie would just give her back... yup love my soaps!
