She gives her back because Marcie knows it's the right thing to do and she overhears Langston telling Markko that Starr wanting to keep her daughter.

Cole should be glad about this but of course he has to face a prison sentence and has to go undercover.

While this may look good for now, I think that Starr and Cole will be awakened to being "teen parents." Yes it is a cool thing that Marcie "may" give the baby back. (Let's see what happens.) But what looks great for now MAY cause a rift in the knowledge that taking care of a baby is a lot of work!

I really don't like that it appears that marcie will be giving back the baby. My sister lost a child hours before she was to get her because the mother changed her mind and she was devastated. I don't like that the writers are making it seem that Marcie has no attachment to this child she wanted for so long and would just hand it back (even if it turns out she is pregnant
And as for Cole and Starr showing the trials of being teen parents, come on!! Do you think it would be a true portrayal. NO...Dorian would have her house keeper watch the baby,or Todd would hire a nanny, they would never have to worry about money. They would Never! miss out on normal teen things..we would never see the baby b/c it would always be being taken care of someone other than the parents....the writers really messed up on this storyline. I am so disappointed!!!!

Hey, sorry to hear about your sister's loss. My niece recently adopted a baby and yes she lives in fear of losing her someday. Due to the circumstances, it probably won't happen. This is a chance one takes in some cases of adoption. She and I have discussed possible outcomes and she of course will still love the baby unconditionally as any adoptive parent should. I've raise children who were not mine biologically as well but I never tried to take away their heritage. They knew they had a biological "mommy and daddy". Marcy doesn't seem to get a handle on that. Marcy swore not to ever let Todd near Sam. If she could gain perspective, I could champion her motives. But Marcy is possesive! Her possessive nature scares me.

I do understand your point about Marcy giving the baby back. But Marcy finally comes to the realization that Hope belongs with Starr. Marcy had to be overwhelmed with guilt in this case. However, you lost me with the words "true portrayal" and "normal teen things". That seems biased. Portrayals are in the eye of the beholder. Nannies are just live-in babysitters. I know many working parents that use babysitters, employ nannies or result to daycare. In Starr's case she will choose to educate herself and have family and nannies there to assist. No one knocks "daycare" this day and age and daycare employees come and go in the child's life. With daycare, many mothers are taking an unbelievable chance!

From personal experience. Having worked in a daycare for 7 years and my 2 children attended for a few, Day care was the worst mistake I made. My children were acting out so badly at home and in the classroom. @ 2 1/2(and 6 care givers later) my daughter threw a block @ her teachers head and was kicked out. It was the best thing that ever happened. I noticed almost immediatley their behavior improved it was like going from rain to sun. I quit my job there got one doing o/n weekends only to avoid needing others to watch my kids(until Elementary school started and it was the best thing I ever did! Daycare may work for some but I would never use it again! Some of the things I saw as a teacher were mind boggling!

I didn't read anything about Marcie giving the Baby back. I shy away from spoiler's are post that may even give the conclusion away. However, It did "pre-view" yesterday on T.V. that there is a scene Marcie telling Starr that if she wanted the baby back, she (Marcie) wanted her to have her (Starr's) baby back! And, personally, that is all that I wanted to hear Marcie say. I just wanted her to be woman enough to give Starr a chance to take her baby back, if that is what she really wanted. And, since we all know that this is what Marcie does. I am no longer peeved at her...And, I hope that Starr does take the baby back for her entire family's sake if not her own...B/c I agree w/whoever said it, that if that is the case, why Jessica should have kept the baby in the first place!

Mind boggling indeed! The daycare I once used was wonderful from the outside and in. Tutor Time had cameras everywhere. This was something that encouraged my decision to use them. My daughter learned a lot, the food was plentiful and nutritious and her daycare was very clean etc. But you're right she did pick up a few undesirable antics and had a cold more times than I can remember. LOL

It was very necessary because everyone I knew had budding careers.

I couldn't afford a nanny but would have preferred one.

i hope it is true that marcie gives hope back to star..

because times have changed. young teens may have an extremely hard time raising children. but it does happen all the time.. young teens can make it happen with the love and support from their families now a days.. its not always a bad thing anymore for young girls to keep their children... yes it is a huge struggle but i think it is one worth going through.. and i think star and cole can do it.. they have alot of people wanting to help them. blair, john, marty, dorian, aunt vickie, jessica and yes even todd. lol and its not like they wouldnt have financial help from their families.. blair, todd, vickie, jessica and dorian are millionaires..
