one life's gay storylines

Hi, I'm just curious what One Life To Live's history is with Gay storylines. I watched from 93 to early 96, then didn't start to watch again till Susan Haskell retured to the show (so last summer). I haven't really seen any Gay characters on it. Can somebody brief me on the show's history concerning this topic. Thanks for any info |

(Ryan Phillipe previously with Reese Witherspoon) played a young teen that was coming out. Andrew Carpenter was the neighborhood priest who was counselling him. Many thought that Andrew and Billy (Ryan P.) were lovers. Actually, I think Marty might have started a rumor that they were ... that was before she turned her life around! Then remember ... Nora was dating (and eventually married) a politician that was in the closet. Aside from that, I don't think there were other gay storylines! |

Speaking of Andrew, maybe his adopted son River can return with Cassie and turn out to be gay. (no pun intended) That would be a really great s/l and bring back three great sctors to boot. I know Laura Koffman is free from AMC now. |

OLTL could use another positive gay storyline--i get the feeling the Daniel Colson storyline wasn't a great portrayal. Thanks everyone for your input.
