BIOGRAPHY

Born in Toronto, Canada, Susan Haskell started her career as a commercial model at the age of sixteen then went on to attend and graduate college in Boston from the Tufts University. Although she had a bachelor’s degree in science, her interest was in drama, which led to her attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

From there, Susan traveled the world as a model then settled back down in Toronto where she studied flute and piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music for six years, as well as ballet for eight years!

Although Susan’s first acting break came when she was cast on the television series, My Secret Identity, she went on to take part in the film, Strictly Business, before landing the role of Marty Saybrooke on One Life to Live. It was there, during her unforgettable rape storylin, that Susan won her Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category!

In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with her partner, All My Children’s Thorsten Kaye (Zach), and their two children.
