One Life to live: Chris Stack Out As Michael McBain! (UPDATED!)

Thursday, September 03 2009

Chris Stack (ABC)
Updated on September 3:

On August 14, Soaps.com reported that Kathy Brier would be making a brief return as Marcie some time this Fall, and now we are excited to inform that Chris Stack (Michael McBain) will be coming with her! Stay tuned, as we'll bring you their returning air date when its released!

Previously Reported on June 24:

For all of you who are upset with the exit of Michael and Marcie, Soaps.com has a bit of news that may make you happy! Though there are no plans to bring Kathy Brier (Marcie McBain) back, word has it that Chris Stack (Michael McBain) may make a brief return this summer to finish up the Leukemia storyline! Stay tuned, as we will keep our readers up to date on any further developments!

Previously Reported on March 31:

On the heels of breaking the story of Kathy Brier's exit, Soaps.com has learned that not only will we not be seeing Marcie McBain in Llanview any longer, but her on screen husband, Michael McBain, played by Chris Stack, will be leaving as well.

Apparently, the show contacted both actors with this news last week, reason being that they don't feel they have any more to write for the characters.

This makes us wonder where the show will be taking the paternity storyline, and we can almost bet that they won't allow baby Chloe to ride off into the sunset with the McBains. However, we can tell you that their exit will be tied to the paternity of baby Chloe - when they leave town in June!

Soaps.com wants to wish Chris our very best! We hope to see you again soon in Daytime!

i figured it was only a matter of time, it's a shame they didn't give him much to do since he has been on, i'm sure we will see him around.

This terrible news as I was HOPEing for a s/l surrounding the baby Hope now known as Chloe and Marcie finally being happy for once. I will miss them, mostly Marcie as she is such a natural. She should have won the daytime emmy 2 years ago.

With lame characters like Stacy around, its extremely hard so see two great actors leaving. The writers could have had a great s/l with the paternity of Hope. Sad to hear these wonderful actors will be leaving.....

I'm sorry to see Michael leave. Although he really hasn't had much of a storyline. Who knows maybe the door will be left open and he can return. Or maybe another soap will pick him up.

If Starr doesn't keep the baby. after the truth comes out, maybe they'll let her stay with Jessica. Starr is such a self-centered, spoiled brat. Jessica does need the baby & will be a good mother to her.
