Survey Results: Favorite Supercouple of All Time!

On January 20, Soaps.com brought you our Favorite Supercouples of All Time survey, and we are happy to report the great turnout it had! While we apologize if there may have been a few couples that we missed along the way, all in all we think our Soaps.com reader’s thoughts on who their favorites are was pretty apparent! As you know, the term ‘supercouple’,was coined in 1981, just as Luke and Laura were heating up the screen on General Hospital. There of course, have been many since, who have made the supercouple status. We had our readers voting from January 20 to February 3 and thousands upon thousands of you voted. Now let’s see who made the top five cut for each soap, and as a bonus, we'll let you know who the absolute last supercouple was that you voted on!

Congratulations Steve & Becky for bring the characters of Jason & Liz, to real life. Liason's chemistry is off the charts, you can't get much closer to a real relationship then what you have with this awesome couple. I'm so glad they came in first place. Congrats to all the Liason fans as well.

Elizabeth Webber and Jason Morgan Wins Again and Again‏
Kudos!! to Becky and Steve
Yet for political reasons the actors will not be put together where the scribing is "FOR" not "AGAINST"
this SuperCouple of all time...what a lost for their fans.

John and Natalie? Really? The only couple worse than them is Colleen and Adrien. How were they even an option on the list?

I agree with the GH list and the remainder of the Y&R list.

Adrian and Colleen were my favorite couple of all time
for Y and R, so I am very glad they were a option for
voting. I also loved Craig and Sierra from ATWT- too
bad they didn't make the final list.

My Favorite ATWT couple wasnt even on the ballot:Rosanna(Yvonne Perry)and Mike(Shawn Christian).

Too bad that GH has gotten so comfortable with mediocrity that they can't even recognize the greatness that is Liason.

When any couple beats out Luke and Laura you would think someone higher up on the GH foodchain would sit up and take notice.

If some are missing, the reason is that we plain forgot about them. There's honesty for ya.

Some who you didn't feel should make the list did so because we remembered them above another couple, likely. The names were made up from couples who had been together for a while. That's about it.

So this is who the fans chose. It wouldn't even matter if those others were on the ballot, because they were from years ago and I know for a fact, they would never have made the top 5. It was blatantly obvious which couples the fans loved!

The number one super souple I've seen on OLTL is Starr and Cole, and on Days, Belle and Shawn. ALthough on OLTL, I also like Langston and Markko, but I didn't see them on the list.

Hi! What surprises...Jason & Liz got voted #1 couple for GH! I love Liason but IMO Luke & Laura will always be the supercouple of all soaps! Wasn't the wedding of Luke & Laura the highest rated in soap history? Another surprise was Nikki & Victor! They were awesome back in the day! They were not in the top 5?!
