ABC has just announced that this year's Super Soap Weekend will be the very last one held! Many are saddened by this news, but the event promises to be extra special this year and the network plans to replace its annual event with many upcoming events throughout the year to include their new "Soap Nation!" However, the network will release the full list of Super Soap Weekend attendees tomorrow!

What do you get when you put the hot Florida sun, Mickey Mouse, a parade and a bunch of soap stars together… ABC's 2008 Super Soap Weekend!

Yes, fans, the wait is finally over and Soaps.com now has all the details you'll need to get a head start on planning for this year's event! Presented by Colgate Total, and set to take place on November 15 and 16, 2008 at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, you'll be able to mesh with stars from ABC's All My Children, General Hospital and One Life to Live! During the festivities, you'll enjoy autograph sessions, concerts featuring some of our musically talented soap stars, interactive casting calls where fans reenact an audition opposite a soap star, parades and talk shows… the fun is never-ending!

Although all of attendees have yet to be announced, Soaps.com will keep you updated as names are released, so stay tuned! In the meantime, it's never too early to start planning your trip!
