Daytime’s July 4, 2008 Pre-Empts!

All CBS shows will air July 4th
It’s a time for parties, fireworks and enjoying friends and family. For some you’ll still get to see new episodes of your favorite soaps come this Friday, July 4, 2008, and for others, well, if encores are your thing then we have a few coming your way.

However, for fans of Days of Our Lives, NBC has pre-empted the show due to the Wimbledon Men’s Semi-Finals. The show will also be pre-empted the previous day on Thursday, July 3, 2008 for the Women’s Semi-Finals.

For all of you ABC soap fans, in light of the holiday the network plans to show encore episodes for all three of their soaps.

All My Children will air a repeat of the February 18, 2008 show where Jesse and Angie reunite.

General Hospital will show an encore of the May 1, 2008 episode where Nikolas and Emily share their last dance and ultimately say their final goodbye.

One Life to Live will revisit Snoop Dogg’s May 9, 2008 performance.

As for you CBS fans, it appears that all four soaps, As the World Turns, Bold and the Beautiful, Guiding Light and The Young and the Restless will be airing new episodes to celebrate the holiday right along with you!

I am glad that Y&R will be on but it stinks that the abc soaps will all be reruns.Happy 4th of July to everyone.

WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO AIR ON NBC AND TAKE DAYS?? THERE IS MORE CHANNELS THEY CAN TAKE GIVE NBC A BREAK AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH THE JUNK, LEAVE DAYS ALONE

I NEVER WRITE IN TO THESE. I have watched The Young and the Restless from the very first one.

I have fallen in love with Sabrina. She is beautiful, classy and a breath of fresh air. At first I did not like the fact she was with Victor, but she won me over. Her voice is also amazing. I think taking her off the show is a BIG mistake. She is one of the reasons I have gotten back into the soap. I think she is just the shot in the arm that show needed.

I also have to say that Victoria and Sharon are also beautiful too and cannot understand why some movie company has not scooped all 3 of them up.

I really hope you reconsidet taking Sabrina off. She is an amazing actress.
